I think too many unique names and backgrounds might be a little hard for readers to remember. For flower themes: 藏红花(Saffron) Zang Hong - could be called endearingly as Hong-er or Xiao Hong 金银花(Honeysuckle) Jin Yin 雪莲 (Snowdrop) Xue Lian 百里香 (Thyme) Bai Li or Li Xian You could also take parts of chinese poems and use that as a back story. Mythological characters like Heibai Wuchang (Black and White Impermanence) or generals serving the heavens Erlang Shen or the Sihai Longwang (Dragon Kings of the Four Seas) or the Nine Sons of the Dragon https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...JDN4QFggcMAA&usg=AOvVaw2acDNCxMQjWBbUoQ4mg8UG I won't suggest you name them after characters that are too famous or have strong personalities like Sun Wukong or Nezha because that can lead to overly high expectations and overpower the personalities of your own characters. It depends on where you want to go with this you could even name them something simple like 明 Ming and just expand on the meaning of the word. (bright, light, clear, perceptive, forthright)
Thanks, now with these names, I had enough for all the servants and other people that I need. And, Yes , these names are for my characters for my BL novel. Thanks.
