Need Desperate Java programming help!

    I'd appreciate help from an experienced programmer to help me fix my crappy code, i can give some compensation, anyone willing to help a lurking NUFian out?

    you should post your code or problem .. or better go to stack overflow and dont worry mate nothing is crap as long as it works

    Don't know where you get 'most people' assumption. A large number of people on NUF that I know are either employed or in education. Many are even accomplished/skilled programmers. I call myself a hikkineet for example, but I actually do have a job and I once studied software engineering at university.

    @PinkBunny I'll check it. A bit rusty, but I've experience with java. Can't guarantee level of my help though.

    In java, is it a myth that pre-increment have better efficiency then post-increment in the update part of a for-loop?

    Hmm let's see... Based on my non-existent experience, you need to end the statements with semicolon.

    True, but I think most programs you make java files in indicate simple issues like that. It is more likely an issue of variables being sent around and one not going to the proper place. Those are harder to find.

    Post the code, or a link. I'm on my last semester as a CS major, and java is my most familiar language.
