Question Need help translating part of a sentence?

    Could it be "held her cheek in her hand"? That's the only translation that I can think of that fits with the rest of the sentence.

    Crisis averted, I figured it out.

    Basically it was "she reached out and rested her chin in her hand".

    She extended her hand to rest her chin in it.
