World of Cultivation I feel like the MC uses his brain a lot to get stronger and not just the usual plot armor scenario

He's given a drug that makes him "smart" in the way of reading people. It's first person POV, so you get all his reasoning, and it still is awesome. Plus, you get his teammates being fairly good as well. Here's a quote.

Worm - Set in modern world with superpowers, the MC is a girl with bug powers. She's not a genius, but in this setting everyone learns from their mistakes; She learns about what things to take, and how to use her bugs, and many enemies, when confronting her for second time, have already developed some means to counter her bugs. I like strongest Dan god he sort of uses his brain mostly since he was the son of an god... he has knowledge and temperament of someone who lived millions of years.

 

Reincarnator disqualifies since he's not really thinking but mostly has a plan and not thinking on the fly only changes depending on the situation. That's like saying nie li from tales of demon and gods is thinking. sort of but he just uses his previous life as reference. also he's way too emotional. granted he see the love of his life again, however he has an objective and that objective can put his love ones in danger.
