Recommendations Need Modern Day novel

    I finished reading the latest translation of A Valiant Life a while ago and it's really good. Can anyone recommend me modern day novel similar to Valiant life or maybe modern day novel with different story but not complicated and pretty likable?

    (I checked 'modern day' tag and a lot of its novel have pretty low rating and it made me hesitate to read them)

    I didn't read A Valient Life but you can try Martial Arts Master, i liked it as a modern day novel.

    I can turn into a fish and Pet King have a modern day cheat/business vibe like A Valiant Life.
    Crazy Detective is a modern day cheat with cop/detective story which feels different.
    Girl I'll teach you cultivation is a modern cultivation like Returning from the Immortal World more
    Am I A God? reminds me of a more lax modern system/action
    Almighty Coach is modern system for sports, but the MC is a coach. It's interesting in that it is different.
    And Monster Factory but it's on hiatus

    I read all of God of Crime and just warning ya, you really have to be apathetic at some parts of the novel since it gets so freaking twisted later on. Good novel overall tho just don’t expect anything lighthearted.

    I haven't read A Valiant Life but looking at the tags of harem, I don't have something similar on those lines.
    However, here are some good modern novels
