    I'm new in Novel Updates, so far I only read few stories here, but at the time, I stumble upon badass female character like Schera Zade and Katarina from The Girl Who Ate a Death God or Riku from Katahane No Riku.
    I really like those type of character, cold and merciless but at the same time, they are soft and kind.

    I was about to say something about them feminist sjw's invading web novels too but yes there are many female characters. You just aren't looking.

    And the funny part is It's usually the male authors that write the badass female characters. While the female authors usually write the romance.

    It's normal female SJW or just SJW invade place like this, I usually deal with some of them when doing some illustration and post it on discussion or forum drawing.

    These three, definitely.
    Political/Royal court novels are quite good, if you dont mind sometimes physically weak female characters who use their intelligence and psychological strength to reek havoc on antagonists. Check out my reading list for series, because i like badass female characters as well :D

    Well, if out of "Fantasy" story, my top badass female character would be Ciquita and Velmet from Jormungand, Levi and some side character from Black Lagoon, and yes, I like guns or modern warfare type story too.
