Recommendations Need new novels

Welp, hello everyone I'm heads-or-tail and believe or not I have become unable to put up with typical wuxia xianxia or anything that ends with xia (ATG,TDG,AST,ISSTH,TTNH,STH,STH,HME,ETC)... I know many of you can't understand me and will judge me or call me names but I just can't read them anymore

Now seriously, I am looking for any kind of fantasy novels right now I'm preety drawn to those that depict good fights without dialogue (like it should be) mc sticks to weapons instead of magic. By magic I mean he is a pure bred fighter, a warrior, a gladiator but not an assasin (it looks like Im picky but the truth is I'm really picky)

 

I know this isn't a recommendation because I can't think of a novel on the top of my head that fits, but those tags.....

Though it may not be to your liking, considering the likeness to assassins.

i will always recommend Kumo desuga, nani ka. Im a spider , so what? more magic but i think it is super well written, loved the fight scenes, and kkumo-chan is such the fighter!

while i dont like Dragon"s bloodline a whole lot, it was action oriented, lots of fight scenes, well written fight scenes (i think).

lolibaba- mech fights all over

Lord Xue Ying- by author of Coiling Dragon, but mc is all about spear, no magic up to where i read

nidome no yusha- boy with magic sword getting revenge, really good

Running Away From The Hero !-mc cant use magic, has badass sword skills, lots of comedy

Read don't fear the reaper, and the other one I don't think i will touch it nothing worse than getting hooked on a novel that has 3 months of silence *shivers*

Already caught up with legend and Running Away From The Hero killed me, sooo good, couldn't get it on with lord xue yin though will look into the rest

Its a good series, though its a bit dark at times. Though the main premise surrounds people called 'wetboys'. Which associate similar to super assassins. They disdain assassins quoting 'assassins have targets, because sometimes they miss'

feel free to check out my reading list for ideas, but id probably recommend Reincarnator if you dont mind time travel, or the game esque stats.
for pure violence, gore, and overall cold heartedness check out Life Mission, and The King of the Battlefield at myoniyoni. However, Life Mission does have moments towards the first half where the grammar makes you cringe.

 

Rakuin no Monshou is about a gladiator.

Another series would be the Traveler's Gate Trilogy by Will Wight, the MC makes a point of never talking while he fights because he can't think of anything clever to say(at least I think that was this series, honestly I'm having trouble remembering). The story does have fantastical elements but the MC is a pure warrior, but he does have super strength, speed, and a myriad of enhancing abilities.

Aren't swords supposed to allow cuts and stabs, while rapiers and similar weapons are meant purely to stab?

If you don't hate copious amounts of harem, then Arifureta can be good. ...Maybe Shura's Wrath as well? I'm not sure if it's a "xia" or not, though.

 

Spirit Vessel is great with the mc's battle with his emotions and morals. The mc is forced by waves and doesn't solve problems with his own strength but have to use the assistance of other to get over bigger problems

Most swords are meant to pierce through chainmail by using a sharp point and blunt edges that allowed the user to grasp them and put more strength behind the stab... although this depends more on the age of the weapon because of different needs
Rapiers where meant for duels and self defence and wasn't needed to pierce through thick clothing or any other defensive thingy
