Not long ago, I just bought a new laptop with a more better spec than the old one, so I wanna try some fresh and exciting new games. Though I said more better, the RAM is only 4GB, so I hope you guys could recommend me some solo games without containing horrors jumpscare in it (except for action horror, like resident evil) that still could be played with that RAM of mine, any opinions is welcomed Beforehand, thx for your help, I need to do something so I would check in a few hours
Inverstion,Spec ops the line,Middle earth shadow of mordor,Reckoning kingdoms of amalur,Crysis,Alan Wake,Bastion,Bulletstorm,Darksider.
Open world is best... Mine craft... yes minecraft but with mods to make things really hard. Tbh good solo games are hard to find...
Devil May Cry series, my favourite is DMC 4, but don't buy the latest one, there's a good chance you can't run it well. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4. Or try one of the Ar Tonelico series, my favourite is Ar Tonelico 2. The Legend of Heroes: Trails In The Sky. Buy a gamepad as well to make it more fun. You don't want to run it using your own built keyboard. You don't need just RAM. You also need to know what graphic card you have. An integrated Intel HD graphic card is low performance and you can't really play any of the latest games on it to any level of satisfaction, But if you have something like a graphic card with 512 MB video memory, then we can work on that. For example, you can't play Life Is Feudal regardless of how many RAM you have if you only have Intel HD graphic card. You need a separate graphic card to be able to even run it.

Currently liking They Are Billions quite a bit. Xcom and Divinity Original Sin are nice turn based tactical games. (DOS is even better with a friend though) Mass Effect & Dragon Age series. I guess I just really like games that allow you to pause and think huh...

I would recommend Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. It's addictive, plentiful in things to do, huge world and it's fun.
