    I don’t really have any genres I explicitly want so anything with romantic subplot will do. Also bonus if it has a manga/manhua adaptation

    Release that Witch

    It has the best non-harem romantic subplot ever. I am on Nightingale boat btw.

    Mangwa already released to chap 70 something.
    Anime incoming.

    You can also do Lord of the Mystery. It has a very mild romantic subplot but more into combat, horror, magic and detective vibe.
