    I agree with the first part :p

    Think movie adaptation vs tv show. Harry potter could have easily made a season of tv show for each book. Instead it was 7(?) movies. Most information in a book simply isn't required to understand or enjoy the plot when its put in a tv show format. Especially when you consider certain descriptions or plot lines that can just be entirly removed because they never become truly revelant to the over-arching plot.

    Hmmm.... so what happened to the other 48 hours (64/76 episodes) worth of videos? Even if we omit the intro, ending, preview, and flashback on what happened last episode, there's still at least 40 hours missing here

    It's not just "sponsored" - Netflix originals are shows you can't watch anywhere else. They premier on Netflix. Hence the name.

    No, no. You're not wrong. They throw money at all of them, regardless. Some are netflix creations, others are sponsored or bought.
    I just meant that the most important thing about them all is that they premier on netflix. Expandin' on what ya said.

    My problem is not that they cut it down. Its that a person who doesn't google Netflix news will not know that the tv-show has been butchered to copy-paste the best parts into a new original Netflix show.

    Netflix is having a totally new spin on remake. How would you like to view the Lord of the rings triology in less then 30 minutes? Or Titanic in 15 minutes? Come on...

    The real trouble you all ignore. Its their recent action against the vpn and area policy. Perhaps for the people living in the states, it matters not. But for some places, the data available is very limited.
    At this time, paid vpn with individual ip address still works but I am sure, they know this too and hence even this method is in danger.
