Hello, if you want to new watch animes(2021) then Log Horizon, Omamori Himari, To Love-Ru, and Freezing are best.
Vivy's Flourite eyes song - pretty animation - cyberpunk setupish. Eighty-Six- novel was a winner of some award thing - cyberpunk with a mix of drama and action. Slime tensei - If you haven't watched it it's part of the isekai genre and the story is pretty light. Dr.stone - science thing majigs but it's interesting and shows a what if scenario of if eart would regress for a span of time. Wonder egg priority - sci-fi subplot but is more of a slice of life of multiple highschool or young girls with different situations. Pretty boy detective club - questionable happenings sometimes but it's cute, shows hints of a reverse harem happening but it's very vague. It's like a detective Conan but with exaggerated happenings and supernatural abilities (kind of).
I don't think there were any noteworthy comedy anime from the last 2 years, maybe you should widen the scope Digimon adventure 2020 Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken (2020)

I wouldn't call the main genre of those is comedy but if that is what you are looking for then maybe you might like "Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu" if you didn't watch it of course

BOFURI (a.k.a Shield-Sis) Breakwater Club Diary Yuru Camp Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai Kuma Kuma Bear Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? & Youjo Senki the Movie (this 2 are more of dark comedies) Horimiya Tensura Nikki (Tensura's spin-off/side-story) Konosuba the Movie For next season (Fall 2021): Komi-san Can't Communicate (dra-com w/ a bit of rom) Isekai Shokudou 2 (the food impression of the eater are sometimes a bit silly for me, it's laughable) Shinka no Mi (I've enjoyed the manga ver & hope it'll be the same w/ the anime ver)
To Your Eternity. Check the genres before watching. It's not for everyone but worth a try IMO. Might check some of the anime mentioned here since I haven't watched most of the recent animes.
