    Just saw the news. The live action movie was awful, of course, so my hopes are a bit tempered by that. But then, the original creators of the series are running things this time around and it's back to good ol' fashioned animation. So it sounds like we have a lot of new avatar content to look forward to.

    provided its not a reboot the movie should be good, i have no hope for the netflix one though

    I thought Netflix was making a series with the creators? Is that not happening now? *hasn’t read article yet*

    the oriiginal directors left halfway due to "DISAGREEMENTS"

    so long story short aang is gonna be a black kid, and the fire nation is gonna be purely white people

    ps. i will be insanely disappointed if they dont make toph a black kid too

    Hm... side note I would not mind a movie about Avatar Wan, kind of a origin origin story... I remember it was a mishmash of bending, immortal engines and spirit-ly world stuff...
