does anyone else have hate for the new wordpress layout on wuxiaworld which also may be used on other sites as well. it feels like i'm staring at the notifications on an android phone and it feels inhuman. i dont like clicking that many times to get a chapter!!
I hope they're in the process of trying a few things, because right now it's...... yeah. Maybe like all things, I can get used to it eventually, but right now it's not particularly pretty.
I've just decided to close my permanently open Wuxiaworld and flee to NovelUpdates after the change. The new layout is an annoyance on desktops and a pain on mobile devices and tablets since I now have to scroll all the way down to check for updates. Worse yet, it takes a long time to load due to the ads so the recent posts pane takes forever to load as well since it's one of the last items to load
In my case it seems a bit lagging as it takes some time to load those bulsh*t spoiler like things and it takes even more time to collapse them back.
I haven't decided yet. On one hand it makes it easier to find the updates I actually want, on the other hand ... it's different.
They might receive enough complaints that they will implement a way to change the layout to the style we were used to.
I've seen worse. Frankly Wordpress pissed me off last night when they changed how you edit blog posts. I'm really picky in what I want when I write.
