    So, Ive never trusted little marten, even since day one. He just doesn't strike as me as a character who would say "I had a good run, but it's now your time kid."

    He gives me the impression that he always prioritizes his power ups and only dribbles enough knowledge for Lin Dong to survive until he gets his body back.

    Anyone wants to bet how long until that shifty eyed marten betrays LD? I say it will be in the next 250-350 chapters. Because that's my estimation for LD entering Nirvana and possibly controlling the blood puppet, which little marten was gazing longingly a few chapters ago.

    No spoilers please, just theories and baseless speculation please.

    I don't think that Little Marten will betray him. I think it's just that the author wants him to seem flawed rather than perfect. Also the author is using him as a guiding figure and also someone who provides explanations. He can't take him away out of nowhere.

    I almost finish reading it in raws but didnt continue it because i feel like i know already what will happen so... i stopped at chapter 1.2k+

    BTW
    Little Flame, Little Marten and MC will be like sworn brothers...

    Well if u think logicaly , little marten gonna betray lin dong , why ? Because he only help lin dong to help him self at first time they meet, ofcourse after betrayal the heart of little marten gonna swayed , this is just my calculation, there is no (always)good guy in this world , some time he/she will also be bad, but not in close time , little marten still need lin dong

    Lil' Marten was stronger than that in his prime and he wants to find out the full capabilities of the stone talisman so hes not leaving soon

    Major spoiler.
    In about 140 chapters from currently being translated, marten will try to refine Lin Dong into his new body (includes some other ish but thats not relevant). And sadly he will succeed. But Lin Dongs mind will survive that and take over new Little Martens body. Aka power up in a demonic way.
