Reverse reincarnation meaning someone from a fantasy world is reincarnated into (mundane, non-fantasy) Earth? I can't recall any off the top of my head.

 

I think what he meant was the reincarnation from another world to modern world, not as the usual type of reincarnation where the story is about a guy who died in modern world and awake in another world

That's one type of specific reincarnation.
Reincarnation in itself just means you get another life, but there's no rule it has to be same race, same world, same time etc., unless it's that type of targeted specific reincarnation or something like a resurrection spell, or the cultivation type of reincarnation.

One of the more common shorter explanations of your specific type of reincarnation you're mentioning is '2nd chance reincarnation' or alternatively 'timetravel reincarnation', depending on if they become their earlier selves or earlier someone else, that one works for both.

If i'm not entirely mistaken ,Hinduism has one way of reincarnation. You do good, you're reborn a human. You do bad, you're reborn some type of animal, all according to a rank scale.

Of course, that's religion, we can't prove much about religion nor disprove it.
