I just finished reading this novel. It gives a feeling unlike other novels. Strong and op mc but yet not the strongest. Not strong enough but yet managed to protect the family according to the circumstances. I really like this story about the author changing the perspectives of people and explaining the family misunderstadings. Like how Norn understand Rudeus hitting his father and Rudeus troubled just because he thinks his sister is suffering because of his fame. Many many other points too. Pls recommand according to above points

Gun-ota ga Mahou Sekai ni Tensei Shitara, Gendai Heiki de Guntai Harem o Tsukucchaimashita!? this one is so not OP. the harem is not as good as mushoku though World Teacher – Other World Style Education & Agent (WN) strong, and already someone rivaled the OP MC. Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? weak to strong, characters' growth are decent too. with a deep plot. Re:Monster is full of OP creatures even OP MC struggles to near death. No Fatigue: 24-jikan Tatakaeru Otoko no Tenseitan steadily trains. The Girl Who Ate a Death God is one of the strongest, but she can still be killed. her mentality also grew. Magi’s Grandson OP minus commonsense. learning about the harshness of the world. sadly the TL is on hiatus.
That one is a little hard to do because it got the slice of life, and combat parts kinda of balanced most of the time. Its basically starts off as a mad scientist put into a fantasy world, decides to study magic, and how it works. There is romance but it does take time for the MC to grow into it. There really isn't a harem because the MC does pick a girl. The only other girl that I could remember that was actually interested in the MC doesn't even have a human form. Unless you count a bromance that goes on later between the MC, and another mad scientist.

This might sound weird but anyway i felt like High School DxD had the same flow of the story regarding its writing style and the way the mc is OP having a heavenly dragon inside him but theres still so many strong foes well imho its similar in those ways.. anyway other then that maybe check out Seirei Gensouki? but there only like 30 chapters out.. but the mc aint a perve in this one and is much darker..

I to am looking for novels Like Mushoku Tensei Isekai with non overpowered MC with happy ending I watched Seirei Gensouki anime, MC feels like going to get too overpowered Maybe try Release that Witch MC has no powers but female leads do or try Warlock of Magus it has weak to strong character development
