Recommendations Novel recommendations please

Hello. So I've just started reading novels like 4 months ago, a total newbie. I've read maybe 10 up to now most are long.
All the novels I'Ve read are Chinese. So I ask for rec for Japanese or maybe Korean.
You experienced people which ones are the best ? CN, KR or JP ?
Ps. I'm into romance~

Why dont you start off with a more modern romance novel?

I recommend <A Slight Smile is Very Charming>. It even has a drama that's really popular, so it'll be easier to relate to.

Another modern one would be <Good Morning, Miss Ghost>. It's really cute and the other novels by the same author are really great too! ^^

A fun and absolute favorite of mine is <Half Prince>. It's comedic and the MC is really funny. It's set in a more futuristic time and most id the MC's adventures are in this Virtual Reality Mass Player Mode Game where she meets new friends. Basic storyline is that she's a girl but because of a bet with her brother, she requests to become a super hot elf boy, and so begins her journey! The ratings are 3.9 but I can absolutely assure you that it's worth it! Other books by the same author are famous too.

Hmm cliche ? I'm afraid of those lol . Because I'm not new to this type of entertainment like manga anime and even Korean entertainment as a whole. But I'll keep a note

 

Depends on what genre of novel you want to read:
- JP are kind of like the all rounder type with no exception in the genre thought if you want things like Isekai (mc 'traveled' from their original world to another of sword and magic where he/she but mostly he plans to enjoy the new life and build a harem) then JP are your target of novel (works that you might know within this section include, Overlord, Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken, Konosuba,
Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e, etc...)
- CN mostly and not all focuse on cultivation and world travel, special powers, cool martial arts and sword battles are within this section (works that you might know include, Ze Tian Ji, Quanzhi Fashi, etc...)
- KR include many good works, but if you are into romance with female MC then you might like KR novels (works that you might know but with Male MC, I Alone Level-up, Volcanic Age, etc...)

If starting to recommend, it's huge list to be honest. I think it's best if you use list function with those specific tags you are into. At least this how i find most of mine first novels.

romance ? Is there any decent romance story out there ? Generally It's just harem story or romcom though .
