Its shit their servers make wordpress look like googles servers it easy to hack and the amount of hidden ads by god ypu would swer it was a ad site not a novel site

 

They're probably afraid that among the thousands of us, at least one person is a DDoS-ing pro that'll really fuck them up.

I mean they pissed off the nerds of the internet... who do they think read novels? Nerds rule the world. I wish i was more of a nerd i would be rich.

Haha. I can tell you for sure that there many here who know how to ddos.
My buddies and I used to make botnets to ddos on game servers back in the day while playing csgo, call of duty, and other games.

 

I'd agree with that if it was in any way helpful. All day people have been giving their opinions about QI. Let them burn on their own actions. Anything illegal doesn't do any good for anybody else but them. They've done enough damage to themselves reputation as well as legal wise. DDoS's don't help anyone in the real world. They only make children feel better.

i assume the only reason qidian was playing nice and calmly taking over everything novel by novel, extending it's greedy little paws further and further, is to avoid such a reaction, and not chase away fan-translators, whose translations they could acquire for a pittance using both threats and a payday, y'know, carrot and the stick and all...

but now that someone retaliated, they will probably either back off for a while, act like nothing happened, or, in the worst case, go full blown hostile takeover...

All that hate. I support wuxiaworld more than webnovel with the information that has/could be given at the moment, but in the end I just want to relax and have a pleasant experience reading my novels. That said either site going down isn't a good thing >.> Ofcourse you could argue that qidian might change their mind about their actions and change some things if it even is a ddos, however from previous experience it should be obvious they will stick their head in the sand and just do what they feel like and fight the rest out in court. That said... this is just harming the casual reader and not effective... therefore celebrating that its down is just stupid. If anything they might end up playing the victim.

Ofcourse it could also be a simple maintenance or some kind of server trouble.

 

i think that if they realy go hostil takeover the people that ddos they site will do way worst
