Forgotten Title Novel title? (Found: Yomigaeri no Maou)

    Hi, I'm trying to remember this novel about a young boy in a rural village that dreams of being an adventurer. This boy is really good with magic that when two adventurers, a male and I think a female elf, comes to the village and they explore a dungeon(I think) and something happens. The female erects some kind of magic barrier but the boy reconfigures it and traps the female in her own barrier. Something happens that resolves the problems and the boy makes a promise to the two adventures to join their party or guild in the future.

    This is basically all I remember and I hope that somebody can help me with the title of this novel.

    i knw what ur tlking about it maou in the name but i believe the translator dropped it

    Resurrection/Reincarnation was also a theme. The mc was a demon lord who was defeated by the hero, who was female I think. I know the story but I don't remember the name.

    Pretty sure that isn't it.

    i think ur right and he finds the daughter of his dead friend in a dungeon near his home town
