Ay, anyone know if Novel Updates carries the account to Scribble Hub or you would need to create a new account??? (Don't want accidentaly make an account then get confused which was which.)
Use to be a translator, but I'm a reader now. Maybe I should pick up translation and do it on scribble hub if anyone reads them, I heard scribble hub is pretty dmca proof if original publisher want to take down fan translation .
I think sometimes, like you get a person who writes a web novel in Spanish in scribblehub and somebody will try to translate it to English or something? (Did I get it right I wonder?) Oh and I'm going to make a quick thread of the question of 'writer and reader'. I'll just leave the thread up in case someone like me doesn't know the answer to it.
Tony allows people to post their translations on Scribblehub. Translations hosted on Scribblehub don't show up on the main page, nor do they show up in searches. You can only find them by visiting the translator's profile or by direct links (which would usually be links from NU to Scribblehub). Basically, Tony lets people host translations on Scribblehub in case they wanna be translators, but don't wanna bother with the things of hosting a site and managing it and whatever, but at the same time, Scribblehub itself will give you 0 advertisement if you host things there. It's just a place that lets you host them.
Yeah, definably a lot better than self hosting, or I'm just tired of 24/7 commitment for years in to the future.
