I don't know if this bothers anyone else or just me, but what do you thing about Novel Names and why do they catch your interest or lose it.

For example: Names like "Reincarnated as a Vendingmachine" or "Immortal Mortal" just make me lose every interest.

How do you think about this topic?

Which is why I generally leave somethings in its romanji. It is better not translated completely.

if there's a novel with a japanese name, even if I read it or like it I will never remember the name. if Ive looked at it previously and decided I wasnt interested in it, I will keep on clicking on it at least once a week because I dont remember the name when I decide to check out new novels.
    :(
theres a few exceptions I remember.. but thats only beacause Ive stuck with it for so long (somehow) and I really like it.

and so I usually dont click on novels with romaji titles >_>

The titles have to be creative so that they can attract people, however when you go overboard it will have the opposite effect.

I don't think the two titles you listed can be categorized as something that makes me lose interest, for me at least, and you should try reading those. I have read Vending Machine and it's enjoyable, you're missing a lot. Don't know about the other one, I'm yet to read it.

Chinese novels names annoy me at times because some of them are exactly the same. With slight differences. Like sword spirit and it's variances. Or dragon-marked war god and those similar to it.

Personally I think "Reincarnated into a Vending Machine" GOT my interest. I would be like "What?! a vending machine? wth can he possibly do?" And so I read it and I freaking liked it. It got my attention it managed to hook me into reading it so it would count as a successful title for me.

I kind of like the new naming convention of the Japanese.
Tells you what to expect in a sentence or less.

I'm more inclined to disregard novels whose names tells me nothing and whose synopsis tells me even less.

i just cant picture you as a mod...i feel something is very wrong here. But that aside...

for me, yeah, some titles get boring and are just a turn off. I mean i guess that helps me weed out some novels, but even so the titles should be a bit less ridiculous sometimes. Especially in ero novels. I cringe everyrime i read, "curing incurable diseases with my semen" or whatever that novel's name was. I did read the novel up to like the third or fourth chap, but just the title itself was annoying to read.

I don't really put a lot of thought into them, tbh. Sometimes they might attract me to a novel or slightly put me off, but I pay a lot more attention to the synopsis and maybe skim reviews for a general impression of the novel. ... Heck, to be honest, I probably pay even more attention to the number of chapters or pages something has. I'm kind of tired of reading things that have ~20 or fewer chapters that only barely begin a story, so I kind of avoid novels that aren't very far along.

I am writing a novel named " Transported to another world as a DRAGON king who have 100 dark skinned elf loli wifes by a huge breasted blonde goddess. Let's conquer all women in the universe" I hope this will catch your interest.

Names that are left in romaji/pinyin are the most annoying as I can't understand them(I do like how some of them sound, but it's still annoying when you don't understand what it means).
I dislike extremely long names, names that repeat the same word/s at least 2-3 times and names that include 'reincarnated', 'transmigrated' and a few other things... 'Vending machine' or 'mobile' in a title kinda doesn't sound like my type of thing either.

I honestly don't care about the title. The genre and tags matter to me more. I do get annoyed a bit at lengthy titles, but not to the point that I would ignore a novel.

I dont really read JP novels and I agree that a lot of xianxia and xanhuan names are mostly slight variatons of eachother
