Recommendations Novels like Throne of Magical Arcana (no harems)

I'm looking for a novel like the Throne of Magical Arcana. It's like a traditional fantasy in a western setting. I would like the MC to not be super OP at the start. He should be weak and gradually cultivate his abilities to be strong. Hopefully, the suggested novel is tightly plotted and magic has good foundation (like Throne of Magical Arcana) but it's not a requirement. I don't mind if it's CH, JP, or KR, as long as I can find it at Novel Updates. I'm just looking for something to read while waiting for the Throne of Magical Arcana to be updated. And no harems please. After reading a lot of JP novels, I'm sick of that thing. My reading list is public so you can see what novels I have already read.

I highly recommend Mother of learning, Savage Divinity is pretty good and Worth the Candle.

Throne of Magical Arcana is so good. I'm also waiting for chapters.

"I am the Monarch" is also great But releases are um erm, eh slow.

Harems?! If that level of interactions with other females in WMW are considered as "harem" or anything, then I must be a harem king for chatting and befriending female friends for my own benefits smh
