I have been getting requests for this for a while and see that many readers use Google Translate on my website.
It will be human Hindi translation NOT software translation

Would you be interested in that?

    @Indiboy @mm38910

    There is a misunderstanding
The point is to translate novels like Second Coming of Avarice/ Overgeared/ I Shall Seal The Heavens into Hindi

... I think Indian readers would prefer not to read fantasy novels in Hindi... We got enough fantasy tales in our native tongue already. Not to mention, the script is butchered in most text softwares.

Dude as a Hindi speaker , i can tell you , the novel will be butchered along with using tld apps to do so. If u can speak it or know how to then maybe u can try but definitely not depend on tld apps , it's much much worse then CN machine tld

Nope. Webnovel also started to translate novels in Hindi (machine translate) and most of the words used are tough. Normal Indians don't use such words. I don't even know the meaning of those words. And only central-northern Indians speak hindi.

I have been contacted by a few Indians or rather Hindi speaking readers who want to translate.
I am not talking about software

Well, I guess there does exist a minority. As for the software I speak of, I am basically talking about how Hindi script is shown on screen. Often times, it is not proper. I have tried reading it on multiple browsers, but nada.

Well, I haven't seen much demand for them. Who knows, they may get popular, but I don't see it happening currently. Though, I would say, majority of the readers who have reached this area of entertainment would have an understandable level of English proficiency.
As for me personally, I think the wider reach for the novels is good.

Because India is one of the few rapidly growing markets on the internet whereas most others are fairly stable in the market and so you have to make something actually high quality and great unlike early on in the internet where almost anything could become popular.

Well I mean so long as you can get it to function and it looks nice and what not it will probably do okay I guess.

Well, the Internet in India is very cheap, but the nation, unfortunately, is still impoverished// I'm sorry to say that //. That means that they will not react to an advertisement on the Internet as often as other countries' representatives. We all know that advertisement is necessary for a website/Youtube channel/etc. to function, but India is not the target audience for an advertiser as the majority still cannot afford to buy products through the Internet.
I hope it doesn't sound like hate or racism. I just tried to explain why working with the Indian market is still a controversial issue.

As I said it's growing as it is becoming more affordable over there and the pay and such has been increasing? I don't know why you thought you needed to quote me to say this...

o_O Hey hey, most Indians are now middle class in urban areas and most susceptible to consumerism. And we are talking of a 1.3 billion people here, of the number of these consumers are also at least in a few hundred millions.

The question is how will you breach the markets here? How would you advertise your product so it suits our taste?

I guess you are right but most Indians commonly use Hinglish (Hindi + English). Pure Hindi is pretty hard. Some of the Hindi words aren't used commonly.

And reading hindi novel is pretty dragging. Firstly, word count is more. Secondly, try reading some hindi Webnovels that Webnovel recently translated.
