Recommendations Novels with plain girl or childhood friend

Somehow i want a fighting CN (or JP) with somehow good romance with a plain looking girl or a childhood friend.
I'm becoming tired of all the girls that got heaven defying looks and stuff.

What i don't want: so dense protag that it's cringy, betrayal unless it's minor, NTR, yaoi.
Plz help me ! Also if the protag have sex with her, it's a huge plus.

Wow, from the tags, there is nothing to make me hate it, what a nice find, thx you ! The MC is average looking but what about the girl ? No childhood friends tag so i guess it's a plain girl ? Please tell me.

The problem is the Late+slow romance, i hope he encounter the girl/future lover early. Also i have never read a "Lucky Protag tag" novel, looks funny and interesting unless the author just wrote nonsense like he won a 0.00000001% chance bet.

 

The girl is scarred, so ugly looking, and she shows up fairly early on

I want to cry because even though i asked that i never thought there really was a novel like that. AH ! GUYS ! There is also Womanizing Mage where a girl is half ugly ! You didn't read it? (but the girl is kinda avoiding MC in early chapters).

And should i guess she is cured later on ? But strangely i think making it she stay cursed sounds like really interesting. MC would shower her with love and she would be happy and not care anymore about her looks.

 

She apparently does have beautful feet though as the author seems to have a fetish when it comes describing them.

The girl is described as somewhat of a beauty though her strong features and even stronger demeanor scares everyone away. In essence, a cultivator maniac who punches and trains like a monster daily.

No annoying mother-in-law, consensual sex, no crazy CN conflicts, MC in appearance is a bit above average, but not the stunningly pretty type. Plus lots of comedy!

ML is prettier than MC. And although it's more about cooking than romance, but it's a pretty nice read. Spoiler: Reason conflicts were ever appearing was because of her own jerk best friend.

Hmmmm, Life After Marriage's summary didn't sound good to me but maybe i will read it after the ton of novels that i need to finish. Really last option, also not a fan of comedy but interested nevertheless.

Sometimes every girl has jadelike skin and phoenix eyes. Therefore they are plain. Put a birthmark on dat grill.

 

Not so much conflicts/drama just the MC was already trying to move on from her life (she had a crush on her best friend for a while but the best friend never seems to respond, until ML comes) and most of the time it's just MC trying to find her self-confidence and motivation through cooking.
