Thread is just post #1, so yes.
Profile/blog comments aren't posts.
whats an RSS reader?
Anything outside of blogs, community games and profiles posts counts as a Message.
An old thingy that fetches content from web pages, more or less.
It's not used much by general users nowadays, but it is still pretty useful for stuff like NU. (NU gets most of its releases by stalking the RSS feed of translator sites, for example.)
...can i use it to read offline like those documentated history of internet weboages stuff?
I don't think so, but tbh I never used one myself, so... I dunno! >.<
if not nvm
free reading opportunity...
ahh i bet @Tony knows the truth
Oh, so you were not aware what the term meant. I assumed you did, my bad there.
Actually sockpuppet accounts are not impersonating someone specific.
An account saying "president trump" or "God" is not a sockpuppet account.
The term sockpuppet in forums is used to mean that a person has secretly made multiple accounts, the additional accounts are pretending to be random unrelated people. This is used for:
1. bypassing bans.
2. giving yourself a lot of likes
3. shouting down other people in an argument by pretending that "everyone disagrees with the other person" by having all your different sockpuppet accounts pretending to be impartial third parties who all weigh in on the side of the suckpuppetteer.
4. cheating on any voting by voting multiple times using your multiple accounts.
Secretly making multiple accs is fine, though the first two issues I know you're not really allowed to do... The other two are probably not either.
NU clone enforcement is super lax already, though I suppose they'll get hunted if they do one of those four?
Often times the very users are the ones that actually hunt the scummy clones! xD
clones are only good if fun
@Sgt Clonehunter is on the case
please refrain from idle chatting in this thread, thank you.
What do Popular and Activity actually mean on the Series Ranking page? What are they counting?
I glanced through this thread and a few others and didn't see those terms actually defined anywhere.
Popular = This is the number of readers that has added a chapter to their reading list.
Activity = Based on reviews, readers, etc... activities around the novel basically.
is there any restrictions if I want to post a blog about bullying and the scars it caused in NU blog?
Umm...depends on the content. Keep it civil and all should be good to go.
it contains some triggering contents maybe? well I can hide the triggering ones in the spoiler tag..
There are none, you only need to worry about abiding by the forum rules~
Thank you for your replies <3
