    Thought we're limited in chapters to read before we move on for time's sake? Yeah, that might be the case for other people. Salvation War was written by an actual military analyst who knows what modern weaponry actually does to people (or in this case, demons and angels), one example was the use of nuclear weaponry (not a spoiler since humans used nukes in the story multiple times) where he omitted a few key aspects on how they work since it's kinda bad to post the whole process on the internet for everyone to see.

    That would be...informative, but, yeah, I prefer fantasy over sci-fi. I keep my older bro's war novels untouched in his closet for a reason. >.<

    I'm okay with both as long as it's good. Salvation War isn't even sci-fi since the year they depicted was around 2008 I think, basically a novel that asks what would happen if what we as humans though of as godlike during the bronze age stand up to modern standards grounded by science.

    The Salvation was has never sounded like my cup of tea tbh. I enjoy military fantasy, but thats a completely different type of work.

    Science fiction usually had their timeline in the future (near to far future), modern war novels usually deals with current day tech and stuff.
