First I will say sorry if this thread isn't the first one or even repeated ober and over again~ Alright, let's start! I remember the time I've read my 1st novel online is at the 2nd year highschool. Then, the 1st one is tate no yuusha continued to mushoku tensei... seriously... now I've already 4th semester university student... and the only completed chinese I'd ever read is stellar transformation while other japanese novel has been completed... oh... how fast the world revolve... I still remember the scene at the time I read those novel... Now... I'm a legal ojisan... Tl;dr Compatriot! Let's reminiscing about our years spent on waiting updated translated novel on NU~ cause i'm interested~
I don't remember what got me started into CN. I'm pretty sure i started with Bakatsuki translated novel... ah it all started in reddit.com/r/lightnovels when it still allowed CN and KR post. I remember it was the golden day until the mod decide to fuck things up due to JP novel losing to CN novels at the time.
tried a few cn can't wrap my head around them desu mushoku tensei got me fixed but mondaiji is the first that tempted me desu~
There was no NU when I started reading SAO. Yup, SAO was my first LN. And contrary to the common opinion, I still think it was a good read.
pdf only sadly desu.... i don't know how to convert em desu but they are available almost everywhere desu~
Hm no, i think its because CN novel start dominating the front page so the mods of light novels got full elite on JP novel only. Not that i complain /r/noveltranslations mods is so much better than those stuck up chicken a**. also i mainly use novel updates only nowadays
I started searching for translated bits of Kyou Kara Maou, back when no site had gathered everything in one spot. Then i got into half prince, and then i've been rolling down and down and down...
I start reading when I saw the TDG manga version and got hooked and search the light novel. Didnt know it was chinese that time. Then I discover coiling dragon when the TDG transfered to Wuxiaworld and that start my journey
Yeah... its sad that the author start to slow down... a chap per month is such a wuss for chinese novel...
RE:Monster followed by LMS is what got me going. Then onto Japtem's Fanfics. Sadly I got upset with reading tones of stories with only 10 chapters... So I looked for other translated Light Novels with high number of chapters. I was so happy to find many to waist my time on.... then I did the math. 3 translated chapters per week, 52 weeks - 2 week break = (3*50)= 150 chapters per year. For those novels out there with a 1000 + Chapters, 10 years of wait time to read the ending =( I sadly still have not recovered my sanity
