Hey y'all! Hope you're having a nice weekend so far. Sooo…..I wonder if anyone else has noticed this. I may be overanalyzing this so just take it with a grain of salt. So before we get straight to it, we all know Father has blondish/golden hair. Basically, he's a foreigner (he even looks British too). Rose is his biological child. Their hometown is in England, which leads me to believe that they (Rose in particular) are both British/Korean (I'm guessing Rose's mother was Korean or part-Korean?) They are bilingual (Rose speaks to Chae Ah when she's about to escort her back to Korea - obviously in Korean since I'm sure that Chae Ah has very limited/no knowledge of English. In the elevator scene when Chae Ah runs into Yunsu and his father at the hospital, Father and Chae Ah spoke very briefly - also in Korean). Perhaps in private, I'm guessing Father, his "sons" and daughter speak English (or Konglish?) Don't forget that Jae Min Oh grew up overseas. Seeing that he knows who Father is and even calls him Father (I'm guessing Father also gave him his blood too)...not to mention how at church the ahjummas were fawning over how good his Korean was despite the fact that he lived overseas. In ep. 116 when Chae Ah is playing that card game (hanafuda according to Google translate; I’ve never played this game even though I’m Korean so idk what it even is lol) on her phone, Min Oh comments on how she shouldn't play a certain card, and she says “you seem like a foreigner, I didn't know you knew how to play hanafuda." So based on those clues there I have a strong hunch that he definitely is bilingual. Biracial? I don’t exactly think so. His English name looks like it's just Gemino, seeing how he spells out his username as "Ge..." Now, since Leo and Yunsu plus Gemino are "sons" (not biological) and have spent a considerable amount of time under Father's wings, they must know some English, at the very least. Leo and Rose have English names. We also catch Leo saying FXXX a few times too, like when he gets beat up by YS and then later when he’s drunk lying on the floor in ep 107. Jae Min Oh = Gemini. Yunsu is just Yunsu....or so we think! The clergy dude refers to him as Brother Michael/Mikhail. Tbh I've been skipping over this part all the time, thinking that Yunsu was addressing the clergy dude as that. But the guy, after recognizing YS, quickly apologizes for interrupting his prayer. So basically, that's his baptismal/English name: Michael/Mikhail (the latter is what the name would be when directly taking into account the Korean translation and pronunciation bit-by-bit). I find it quite difficult to picture him as a Michael but...we're trying. I can't help but think about Michael Scott when I hear or see the name Michael. But Mikhail....now THAT sounds hot af. I've been looking through my YS album all day on my phone trying to picture him as a Mikhail The name means "gift from God." In the earlier episodes (especially ep. 1) where we see YS interacting with the ahjummas in the cathedral, they see him as some sort of saint. They practically worship him. He's a goody two-shoes, perfect man in their eyes and they marvel at how polite and thoughtful he is. In other words, he's like a gift from God to them, aka an angel. In contrast, for Chae Ah, she doesn't see him as an angel, but as a "little devil" (악마 같은 새끼) Also during that cafe scene in ep 138 with Chae Ah and her sister.....more symbolism!! Before His Hotness shows up, Chae Ah is talking to her sister and mentions how she's trying to find YS. I found it a little cute how she started randomly scratching her neck (I'm not too sure if she was just scratching it out of frustration or something else). We also know our YS is mostly an ear-guy. But when he shows up he starts touching the back of her neck, and at one point his hand gently grabs the back of her neck and his fingers start gently going down her turtleneck caressing her skin (ep 139), and it almost resembles an olgami (noose). Chae Ah even grabs his arm and tells him about the "dinner" that they were planning to have (to get away from her sister). So once again she's reaching out and holding on to that olgami herself. Geurim looks so cute here I wanna squish him lol. The author said this is a depiction of a more peaceful time in their lives. The vamp Chae Ah one where she’s lying on top of YS was part of an April Fool’s Day thing. Idk if this cut will even be included in the series at all, but we’ll see! The longer panel is also something that was posted by the author. Some images (such as the turtleneck, cafe pic, YS smoking) have been edited by me, such as adding sharpness to slightly blurry images to coloring over the speech bubbles. Don’t worry, I didn’t overdo it lol. Some episodes had panels where I was in love with the art Yunsu so I used markup tools to carefully color over the speech boxes and ran them through an image enhancer. I’m not a graphic artist by any means so don’t expect a picture perfect job! One random bit: anyone else also think that the blue hoodie that Chae Ah is wearing might be the same one that Yunsu wore in ep 81? She probably took out the strings cause they were too annoying. The hoodie looks oversized on her during ep 90. The sleeve cuffs look missing though, but personally if i wear an oversized hoodie and the sleeve area is loose, the sleeve cuffs tend to fold downward (i suck at explaining lol) but basically the cuffs are not visible, but the sleeve is still a sleeve. Even after Chae Ah gets rescued and is being taken care of by Yunsu, throughout their whole stay at Leo's house, she doesn't seem to wear women's clothes at all, but men's clothes (I want to say Yunsu's clothes?) They're too baggy and oversized. One last bit of analysis: in ep 103, Yunsu drinks the wine that Chae Ah brought. She didn't add all the substance that Leo gave her; after all you only need a small portion to get a vampire drunk. The rest she gives to Leo, which is enough to temporarily immobilize him. (I still can't figure out exactly when she spiked Leo's flask). Yunsu is usually verbally flirty (with light touches) towards her when sober but after he finishes his glass, he literally puts his head on her shoulder and asks for a kiss, and even goes on top of her to initiate...super straightforward. He evens hints to her as she's about to kiss him that he might go all the way. I’m not too sure if Cha Ah put the substance in YS’s wine glass or the entire wine bottle, but I wanna say that since we don’t see a corkscrew being used, she may have already added it to the wine before she came in, so all they had to do was just pop the cork and start pouring? She also chugged that glass of wine too. Now, since the substance that she added to the wine was meant for vampires, it may not have an effect on her at all, or it could. Given how much she drank, it may take a very short time for her to get buzzed depending on her tolerance level, especially if she isn't exactly a wine drinker (personally for me I get buzzed even after drinking a few sips of wine). Normally one would expect her to never ever kiss him no matter what YS says or does. But she's reaching out first and touching his face to lean in for a kiss after she confirms that YS will tell her Geurim’s location. Even after he warns her that he might go all the way, she says she doesn't care as long as it means that she can get away from him and switches positions to go on top of him, then kisses him in response to his question: Have you never trusted me, not even once? Then she pulls away and we see her face and ears get really red (hehe she’s totally enjoying this). YS lunges in for another “proper” kiss, and at one point Yunsu is biting her lower lip, but doesn't exactly draw any blood. And their hot makeout session continues until Chae Ah's flashbacks make her panic (so she’s still a bit sober or she’s sobering up). I wonder what else they did after YS "threatens" her not to come back. By looking at the panel, it looks like he continues to kiss her…a bittersweet farewell.
Hello again! I know I post too much here but Twitter is quite interesting lol. Basically the author of this tweet here said that how in the past, YS would shield Chae Ah from the rain with his umbrella. But this time around, Chae Ah is holding the umbrella (notice how hers is white, not black) and they don’t exactly spend time hugging each other or anything like that after their emotional interactions. YS steps out of the umbrella into the rain, and next thing you know they’re headed their separate ways. Neither of them tries to stop the other from leaving. Chae Ah goes towards where a lot of people are (symbolizes how she wishes to become a human again and will try her hardest to find a way back). And for YS, I noticed this on my own but there’s two dark figures walking behind him….may be a foreshadowing of something? The tweet author was predicting that something bad may happen hopefully nothing bad is gonna happen to them both. This better not be the calm-before-the-storm type of thing…. YS mentions that he’ll come pick her up later, I guess they both and Geurim are gonna relive the ep. 74 days where they’re in hiding (can YS and CA please share a room already?????). But that Father guy I swear is a total creep, omnipresent and omniscient. He has eyes everywhere, even going in public is gonna be scary for them since based on ep. 113 there are other hybrids out there besides Leo, etc. And Father is killing off those hybrids, one by one. How many other minions does Father have? If he discovers that Gemino failed to kill Chae Ah and is in hiding, he can then send someone else to get rid of them both, now that he renders Gemino as useless. I still want to know the extent to which Gemino can use his psychic powers. He can predict the future just like he did when Chae Ah went inside her old apartment building to get her stuff back (notice how he was counting 3,2,1 while looking at his watch). Can he only predict stuff that’s gonna happen in just a few short minutes/hours? Him and Chae Ah were both at the cathedral not too long ago. Or could he see events that will happen in the span of one day or more? Honestly, if him and YS can clear up the misunderstanding they have (with YS’s strong jealous tendencies it may be difficult), they could potentially use his ability as an advantage to predict danger and flee as needed. Spoiler: Ch. 153 Chae Ah still hasn't gotten a response, so she keeps calling Gemino's name repeatedly, saying that she has something to say. YS stays silent and wonders to himself what exactly the nature of her and Gemino's relationship is, why is she calling him? Suddenly, Chae Ah says "Park Yoon Soo, is that you? Where are you right now? What are you doing?” He’s surprised at first, but thinks to himself, "you keep pushing me away because you hate me, but at the same time, you look in my direction" which makes him a bit happy and he smiles. He wishes for her to keep calling out his name. She suddenly hangs up and calls YS’s phone. He answers and she immediately asks him where he is. He says he’s at home, but she knows that he’s lying. He insists that he’s not lying, and asks if she wants to check. After all, he’s under her (he means that he lives in the floor right underneath her — 17th floor of the building). She isn’t falling for it and keeps pressing for answers. He says that he didn’t do anything. Then Chae Ah asks him about what he said earlier about how there's no other choice. And YS says that it means exactly as she heard it. Chae Ah gets frustrated and tells him not to do anything else and make things worse. YS keeps playing dumb as if he has no idea what she's talking about. Then he says that he hasn't done anything yet, and asks her "aren't you too obsessed with me? It'll make things hard...Don't worry, when everything is done, I'll come to you" and then hangs up. Chae Ah isn't taking that as an answer and changes out of her robe into other clothes, and puts on her jacket, getting ready to go out and find YS. She thinks about his old home and teleported, but it looks like she teleports to some random place instead (a Regional Emergency Center). Or could it be that the old home is no longer there and some new buildings are being constructed there? We'll see... Next we see Gemino sitting in a room and wondering if YS has killed Chae Ah yet. But he thinks that he probably didn't kill her. He's reflecting on the way that YS looked when he met him in the back near the dumpster; he was definitely there with the intention to kill him. And here we see that Gemino is NOT a rich vamp. He used almost all his money to get a phone but he doesn't even have Chae Ah's number. He realizes that he should have gotten her number instead of giving his number to her. He decides to take a quick nap but senses something (Can taking a nap actually heal his injuries?). YS has teleported to where Gemino is currently at to find this guy. Luckily for him, he's hiding in a closet scared af. He tries to sneak a peek through the slit in the closet door and thinks to himself "so I've been caught by a crazy guy...he's going to keep chasing me till the end." Gemino sees that he left his phone on the table and is conflicted on what to do (leave it and run away? He's slowly adjusting his legs so he isn't uncomfortable but his foot accidentally nudges open the closet door, and it makes a creaking noise. YS approaches the closet and says "Here?" with this crazed expression on his face (our man is literally going crazy out of jealousy lol). He opens the closet doors and sees that it's empty, and wonders if he misheard. Meanwhile Gemino is literally right behind him taking his phone from the table, and teleports just in time as YS quickly turns around to look behind him. Gemino seems to have teleported outside somewhere (where exactly was he before then? Judging from the layout it was not his home) He wonders if YS was able to track him with the smell of his blood (Gemi still has not yet tended to his wounds). At this rate he knows he's going to get caught by YS sooner or later. He calls Leo, (judging from Leo's response he has gotten a new phone...Gemi what happened to your old one?) asking him who exactly is the male customer from last time. He explains that whoever he is, he's trying to kill him and that there's some sort of misunderstanding (DOOD you started it lmao). Then he says that he needs to finish up his mission quickly and go back. Leo asks him what his mission is. Gemino tells him to find a girl's number, and tells him where she lives. Leo is writing all this down and tells him to slow down. Gemino tells him Chae Ah's name, and Leo is surprised. As him and Leo are talking on the phone, Geurim appears and hears Leo say Chae Ah's name, which leaves him shocked. He asks if he heard wrong, and if she is still alive. His eyes turn yellow. (Awww he misses Chae Ah noona~~but why did your eyes turn yellow at the thought of her? Do you miss her that much? Lol) End of episode. Damn Gemino... You're DEAD MEAT. Ya seriously effed up... The past boyfriends I've had were too chill. Wayyyyy too chill with me...almost makes me wonder if they were doing anything shady behind my back. Even the breakups were meh. So honestly if I were to have another boyfriend, I'd much prefer that he'd be obsessive over me lol. Bonus points if he wears leather jackets and boots.
Hello everyone! Hope your week is going great. More analysis time cause I can’t get enough of Olgami! Also this week is dragging…ugh. Please be aware of spoilers if your reading is not current. There is also an NSFW section some ways below, feel free to skip if you’d like. Don't worry, I'll put a lot of warning signs lol. Spoiler: Analysis of Each MC's Olgami Source: https://twitter.com/olgamijinsim/status/1568889952426917889?s=46&t=VOEFjLAefmeQABxzmM8s7g The tweet author made a little breakdown of each character’s “olgami”: Rose: Father (he is way too overprotective over her) the guilt she has for the countless others who have died/put in danger because of her (Father, to be exact. I feel bad for Rose, how many other people did she witness die because of her Father’s unhealthy obsession for finding the key to eternal life for his daughter?) Geurim (Grimm): the misunderstanding he has of YS killing his father and mother (keep in mind that Geurim does not know his father’s dying request: for YS to kill his son so that he doesn’t have to share the same life he did….seriously how on Earth can you say that??? What do you guys think? Should YS tell Geurim or not?) Seon/Sun (Geurim’s dad): the desire for a wealthy, comfortable way of life (vamps here are portrayed as being filthy rich…but Seon and his family were still stuck in a regular home. I think it’s because Father did not exactly know back then that YS turned his friend into a vampire, and bc of that Seon had to live quietly. How did Father find out about his death though? the hope of spending the rest of his life with the person he loves (who ended up leaving him and his kid behind. Did the same thing happen to Father? Is that why he’s so adamant about Rose not to ever be in a relationship or get too attached with anyone?) Father (aka Gray): his obsession with immortality (seriously dude how old are you?) wants to make his daughter a full vamp (we get that you love your daughter but she really does not want this dood…) Speaking of Father, this guy has got some MAJOR connections. Perhaps even with the government? We know that during the button incident, he was able to get rid of all articles that talked about the suitcase with the corpse and the button. What did he do in the past to achieve such a powerful position among the vampires? Obviously he must have killed a lot of people to climb up the ladder. And so far it doesn't look like he has even been penalized and convicted for his acts. His Hotness (Yunsu/Yoon Soo): boring, lackluster life (which explains why he had fun playing around with Chae Ah in the beginning — she was very unexpected) meaningless eternal life (before things started getting heated with Chae Ah, he really was bored with living. He even admits in ep. 109 that ever since he got used to being alone, he was waiting for Death) Our sweet & beautiful Chae Ah: relationships (her family relationships were so toxic and suffocating, yet she had to endure it all as a young child. Even though she tries to escape them somebody (namely, her sister) consistently knocks on her door. Usually, we would just cut off ties and call it quits, but even through all the BS she went through she still hangs onto the “olgami,” the false hope that things might change this time around. She seems to have a bit of a soft spot for her sister, seeing how she answers when she calls her and even opens the door for her when she shows up for a visit, even during the cafe scene where Chae Ah consults her sister’s opinion and draws YS. She should have cut off her entire family long ago, but in ep. 140 it’s finally clear to her that things will never change with her family. It’s literally “same sh**, different day.“ All they see her then is an ex-convict, and someone who is STACKED with money. As for her romantic relationships, let’s start with Hae Won, that little butt. The stalking that he did in the past is a perfect example of an olgami. She tries to get away from him but is trapped, with no way out. And here he shows up again, 7 years later. Has things changed? NOPE. Back to the stalking again, and she’s getting caught in his olgami. And for our Yoon Soo….those two are in a never-ending olgami cycle (I’ll make something like a chart later on that shows all the instances of each of them either creating an olgami or grabbing onto each other’s olgami.) These two have had every opportunity possible to get away from each other completely, but ultimately failed each time. Now if they get married, that’s a PERFECT example of an olgami) loneliness (you don’t have to be an introvert to relate to this, but most likely you’ll be able to understand and empathize with the loneliness that she feels throughout the series. It’s human nature to crave human relationships and affection, but she’s depriving herself of that, saying that she is not worthy of such a thing. She’s also scared of thought of loving someone again thanks to the trauma she got from SOMEONE [I’m looking at you Hae Won!!!!]. She’s definitely looking for her one-and-only too. She tries to run from YS who’s holding an umbrella in ep. 142, thinking “if YS is just someone passing by….” Loneliness can be never-ending. You can be surrounded by people and live amongst noise and chaos, but when everything calms down, that dreaded feeling comes back). lack thereof (not sure what that means in terms of “lack of loneliness” since with YS she definitely is not lonely cause their interactions are everything. But the lack of relationships is sort of a trap for her. We know she cut ties with her family, so who’s left? Yoon Soo of course. And Geurim, who’s more like the “little brother that she never had.” She really wants to get away from him, but I think that a part of her really misses the feeling of not only being in a relationship but simply having a relationship with someone [platonic/romantic] to begin with. Her conflicted feelings can stress us out at times; we’re just dying for her to finally come to terms with her feelings and get married already) Lastly, Gemino/Jae Min Oh: we don’t know much about this guy yet (like why is he not living in a mansion or have a ton of money like YS and Leo do) but one thing for sure is that the Olgami that he now has (thanks to his blabbermouth) is literally Yoon Soo. YS will never stop chasing him to the ends of the Earth until he’s dead or if Gemi can somehow come clean and apologize, and also let him know that Father is on the hunt for Chae Ah. YS is wearing white (not red like Chae Ah is). IF….IF this was the case….we know YS’s olgami includes a meaningless eternal life. The only way out? Drinking Geurim’s blood to become human, which in his case may mean death (Geurim’s blood can turn a vampire into a human, so a vampire who has lived for 200+ years will shrivel up and maybe die). Hopefully this is not going to be the ending that the author has planned. Another possible interpretation for his white attire could be that he has found his “escape” from meaningless eternal life through Chae-Ah, who has given him a reason to live. Meanwhile, Chae Ah is wearing a red dress (remember how you saw YS wearing a red chain around his neck that symbolizes his olgami of meaningless eternity?) and by drinking YS’s blood, she is now stuck in meaningless eternity too. Back in ep. 143 remember how when she was about to drink the “wine” and YS knocked the glass out of her hands? And some of the blood stained her white dress? I think that was a litttle foreshadowing moment of her becoming a vampire. It looked like she escaped the Olgami but she did not in the end. Her dress was stained red when she became a vampire. And in the cover art her dress is completely red. Fingers crossed that she stays a vampire and has a happy ending with YS Spoiler: Yoon Soo's Emotional Weakness Source: https://twitter.com/olgamijinsim/status/1409521900141768707?s=46&t=VOEFjLAefmeQABxzmM8s7g When Leo tricked YS by transforming himself into Chae Ah, YS catches on and is so close to beating him to a pulp, but then the face of Chae Ah reappears again, and this time, she’s crying. This makes YS hesitate and that’s when Leo uses that moment to stab him. If you look at other moments in the series where Chae Ah cries, we don’t see YS acting like a douche at all (in the two instances when she was crying in the rain, we see this gentlemanly side of him that doesn’t joke around or make her mood even more crappier). Even when Chae Ah hits his face with a lamp out of fear and starts crying, he tells her that he really loves her expression. Is YS a perv? Honestly I think he likes it when Chae Ah gets emotionally vulnerable. He’s used to seeing her get angry and cuss at him, so when he sees her cry he has this soft side for her. When she has a meltdown bc of Hae Won and cries in the rain, the look that YS has on his face is not exactly one of pity, but it looks more like he’s surprised. I think that was his first time seeing her cry. If you take a look at the multiple instances when Chae Ah cries throughout the series, you see a change in YS's behavior -- more gentle and caring. But seriously, when you love someone, seeing your beloved cry breaks your heart. Spoiler: More Evidence that YS can Speak English Remember when he went to Europe for a little getaway after the button incident? The server that takes his order looks foreign, and they communicate with no problem at all. I guess the thing with vamps is that they mostly are bilingual? They've had experience living abroad somewhere in Europe (ex. Father, Rose, Leo, YS, Gemi, maybe Geurim too?) how does Father pick up new potential vamps? He always "recruits" them as kids, and he lets them grow by giving them human blood when it's time. He's always going to where kids are (Leo's friends, YS's orphanage place where he and his mom were at). Is this guy a creep....???? One more little tidbit, so Rose is a British artist! If you’ve seen Geurim Googling her online then you know that he sees a little bio-thing about her. So she may be a bilingual British woman or biracial. I can’t tell if the “mom” that she’s painting is really what she looks like, or if Rose is subconsciously drawing herself. Speaking of moms, why are all the moms not present in this story? Geurim’s mom is gone, so is Chae Ah’s, Yunsu’s, and Rose’s. He doesn’t seem to hate it when Chae Ah slaps him or even hits him with a lamp, making him bleed. During the earlier episodes when Chae Ah slaps him during the burning house incident, you can see his eyes faintly turn yellow but not completely. When Chae Ah punches him in a fit of rage after she discovers that he turned her into a vampire, his eyes are still yellow (not black) and it looks like he’s pouting while he’s saying “Now it really hurts.” And even when Chae Ah is strangling him he is smiling/smirking while holding on to her thigh. When his eyes turn back though I can’t tell if it’s because she said “Why did you turn me into this kind of thing?” (I believe the trigger word for YS is “monster,” see ep. 84) or if it’s him struggling to breathe. He seems to like verbal degradation if you take into account all the times Chae Ah cusses at him. Normal people would just cuss right back but he does not, and he even seems to be enjoying it (ep. 81). Could Chae Ah be a sadist then? We know she’s foul-mouthed but she just cannot stop cussing at YS (it’s actually super funny). She doesn’t think twice about slapping him, punching, or shoving him. Even rejecting his feelings! It looks like she likes to see him have a difficult time, like when YS’s house was on fire and he was about to die of bloodthirst, during YS’s piano love-confession where she didn’t even take pity on him for being vulnerable and expressing his feelings, and instead humiliated/degraded him for daring to have such feelings in the first place. Even during the memorable farewell scene in ep. 110 where it’s an emotionally very painful moment for them both, especially to YS. But Chae Ah seems to smile the most even as they are both crying, especially when YS tells her that she’s more cruel than he is, and when she tells him that “This is the best revenge!” These two both have not snu-snu’d yet. Honestly speaking, YS has been deprived and the most they’ve ever done that we know of is kissing, kissing, and more kissing. And Chae Ah has never let him go all the way without interrupting him, but he does not seem to get frustrated or irritable when she stops him. If any, I think this makes him even more “excited.” In the newer episodes (post-transformation), Chae Ah still continues to turn him down and is now using his feelings towards her to her advantage (YS actually seems to be ok with it? BTW YS where exactly is your hand touching when you were hugging Chae Ah to smell her? Sideboobmuch???) Despite her cold attitude towards him, he’s still trying everything he can to be with her, even putting himself in the face of danger to get rid of threats like Gemino. It’s like he thrives on receiving pain (whether emotional or physical) just to be with her. Even her just taking the time to cuss at his face is more than enough to make him smile. The tweet author wonders if YS was watching her sleep while standing in a way so that the sun doesn’t get in her eyes and also holding on to the tube so that it doesn’t drift off. Which reminds me, how long was she asleep for? Imagine he was standing there for hours just watching her sleep (I get why he’s called a 변태 싸이코 now lol). When you compare how bright the sky was when she first got in the pool/lake/body of water whatever it is called and when she wakes up, it does look a bit darker. And how on earth does she not get distracted by that bod? Either she’s really good at controlling her eyes or maybe she’s not an ab-person? Or didn’t think of him in that way then? Hahah.. just read Chapter 152 and i agreed, Gemino effed up when he triggered YS's jealousy. Now Yoon Soo is hunting him like a hell hound. This chapter had me hold my breath for Gemino when he was trying to not let YS find him. I doubt Leo can protect him as his strength is below YS. Maybe Chae Ah can.
Leo is definitely scared of YS at the very least, but Father remains #1 on the list for all of these guys. I think Chae Ah can definitely save Gemino when he's on the verge of death by YS. Although he will obey reluctantly lol. No one else knows about Gemino's mission, but maybe Leo may be the first to know as he and Gemino seem to be on good terms, but I wouldn't really exactly call them best friends or anything. Y'all I just noticed the "turtleneck" symbolism. Take note of when you see YS and Chae Ah wear turtlenecks. Examples: When YS rescues Chae Ah from Leo, he's wearing a black turtleneck. When YS is about to go hunt to heal his wound, he comes back to look after Chae Ah and tell her about the plan he has, and he's wearing a white turtleneck. He could have left to go hunt but thank God this guy is a quick-thinker and put the pieces together that Leo was definitely planning on hurting Chae Ah whenever he got a chance to so he could mess up their plans to escape. (Dear Haemuri, please let us see YS wearing another white turtleneck again. Please let it be a snug-fitting one ) When YS ends up biting Chae Ah while she was sleeping When Chae Ah comes back to rescue YS, she's wearing a red turtleneck. When Chae Ah visits her sister, who "supposedly" cares about her being missing, she wears a black turtleneck. The neck part looks quite snug though compared to the red one that she previously wore. I'm guessing that this depicts that the ties that she has with her sister is extremely suffocating and debilitating. Her sister is also wearing a turtleneck (a white one) that has a very loose neck hole, which I'm taking to mean that Chae Sun is "tied" to her family but in a healthy way, as she is in good terms with her family and has a healthy bond with them. When YS comes to the cathedral to see Chae Ah, he's wearing a black turtleneck (maybe it's the same one we've seen him wear previously?) When YS and CA go on that steak dinner date, she's wearing a brown turtleneck (can I borrow that? It's super cold here lol) When YS just "happens" to find Chae Ah at the cafe, she's wearing a white turtleneck. Speaking of outfits, what are your favorite outfits that you've seen YS and Chae Ah wear so far? IMO for YS it's that black turtleneck/black pants, then the gray tshirt/black pants/military boots, and the leather jacket/khaki pants/military boots. And for Chae Ah that black turtleneck/purple coat/black pants outfit looked absolutely stunning on her. The collared white dress she later wears was really pretty on her too, along with that tank top/shorts/sandals outfit in ep. 83.

The story doesn’t say whether Rose really did get him saved or not. But if she did save him, Father would have definitely made the connection that he tried to kill his daughter. But we know that Father has a soft spot for his daughter, so he keeps the boy alive anyway, but makes sure to give him a really difficult time as he’s growing up. Maybe that’s why as an adult, Gemino is not filthy rich like the other vamps/hybrids. The guy isn’t that smart either, seeing what he did in ep 152 to trigger YS.

There's no way that CA could be the only one alive. They were for sure together…” Leo: Huh? What??? I killed PYS. Who is this bastard listening to? I don't know about CA but from what I've heard she's living well. Grimm: From what you heard…? Who did you just talk to earlier? Who are they that they know who CA is? Leo: Don’t mind, you don’t need to know— Grimm: *grabs Leo by the shoulders* Why shouldn’t I know!! What the hell happened? Leo: *kicks him to the ground* HEY. In my house, if I wasn’t there everyone would have starved to death…actually, there would be quite an uproar there right now? If they saw me living in a nice, warm place, they would try to kill me. If I get caught again, they might break the bones in my feet so I won’t ever run away again. So that’s why I risked my life and ran away. You know…if you’re tired you should run away…running away is not cowardly. Running away is something that needs a lot of courage. Fast forward to Grimm waking up from another experiment. …..?! An experiment….? Already….? Ah….I’m dizzy…. Father: Wake up now. Grimm: Is it done? Who is today again… *recognizes the test subject as the servant boy* You…! Father: I’m sure you know what you need to do. Grimm: I have to kill that child…? Until just now, a child that I was just with? *walks toward the boy* The reason why this child was made into a vampire was done in order to experiment on him. The reason for bringing him here was probably to use him in the experiment. Servant boy: Am I…am I, going to die? Grimm: *has a surprised expression on his face and turns to Father* Father: What are you doing; not killing him right away? Grimm: remembers what the boy told him about how running away takes a lot of courage. He grabs the boy in his arms and decides to run away Let’s run away…! ------------------------------------------------ That's right Grimm, go find your mum! I'm curious to see what Father will do, he'll either hurt Grimm and the boy as they're trying to flee or he'll leave them alone and assign Leo the task of finding them both and bringing them back/getting rid of them. Since Father is a snek it seems like he'll choose the second option, we all know how clever and sneaky he is. Let's hope that Grimm uses teleportation to escape instead of trying to run away from the massive mansion/castle with his own two feet. You only know Chae Ah's old home, but maybe you can blackmail Gemino into not saying anything? And maybe find out through him that YS is still alive?
Oh?? The servant is a boy? I thought he's a girl. I don't have a good feeling about this. When the servant whispered to Geurim to run away, it sounded manipulative and time jump to Geurim in the lab. Looks like he fell unconscious while talking to the servant. Could it be Father was setting up a trap to catch YS? Father is cunning and calculative, i won't be surprised if he's aware that YS is alive and Leo is going behind his back. One thing I notice is Father isn't too keen on killing YS and YS seems to be the only one who has special insignia (on his buttons), besides Father. There's no mention that Rose or Leo has them (or maybe I missed them). Without YS and Chae Ah, it feels dull this week.

I was gonna say I was a teeny bit sus too, but since I saw flashbacks of the boy's memories about how fondly he thinks of Grimm for taking the time to talk to him (but really it's just Leo being sneaky and transforming himself into Grimm) I thought he was being sincere. Maybe Father's reaction will be the tell-all, will he let him run away only to send Leo out to find him and kill them both? Or, if the boy is on Father's side, will he either kill Grimm or alert Father to his whereabouts? I'm going that the boy is on the good side, please please please. If so we can then adopt another member into the YS-CA family! Father doesn't trust any of his children, even Rose, his biological daughter...it's just too sad. I think he knows deep down that it's literally almost impossible for Leo to kill someone like YS, and even more impossible for YS himself to die. He even knew back then when Leo was hiding YS in his home, and even when Rose was hiding Grimm in her house. He's smart but not in a good way. I don't think I saw anywhere in the series either about Rose and Leo having special buttons. I think YS must be the leader or co-leader of some pretty powerful vamp clan or something. I agree it did feel a bit dull this week without our couple. Hopefully next week we'll finally see some more YS+CA action! At least Grimm is getting closer (knock on wood) to reuniting with his parents lol. Is it mean of me to say that I want to see CA slap YS and cuss at him again

WUUUUUT NO FREAKING WAY!!!! If that really is true, let the duo become a trio (plus Leo). These three guys and Grimm can work together to take Father down and stop his inhumane experiments once and for all. There is no way Gemino can ever fall for Chae Ah....but who knows what the author has in mind
Do you happen to know which chapter he apologizes to her?... i feel like i have missed something I think the author won't make it easy for Geurim to meet CA 'cause he is the cure to turn her back to human (and as I rmb, Geurim is aware of that rite?). I hope Leo and Rose somehow pop up and help Geurim to escape. Servant: This is…? *Her face freezes as she looks in front of her and grabs Grimm’s shirt tightly* Grimm: Why that… *turns around* *Father is right behind them watching with those menacing eyes* *Grimm teleports again to Rose’s room, where she is about to start painting a large piece of artwork* Grimm: Rose!! Blood splatters everywhere and gets on Rose’s face, clothes, and the canvas that she was about to start working on. Father: …….. Grimm: You needed my blood for the experiment…. Father: Now I have no use for your blood. (mutters to himself: It’s a failure…the ability to turn back into a human…) Who wants to be a human…? *walks away back to Rose’s room* Father: Did you hide the servant. Rose: …Were you going to kill that little child too? Father: That child needs to die. Rose: ....Are you also going to kill Grimm? Father: …You’re the only one who feels sorry for that child. Is it because he was the son of someone you knew? Rose, you have too much affection. But because of that affection, in the end you’ve always been on my side. Because we spent a great deal of time together. But in the eyes of others, what will they think of you? To them, you’re ultimately a bystander. Later in the day: Rose sits in silence and touches the canvas, running her fingers over the bloodstains on the surface. Rose: A bystander….that hole I felt within myself was probably because of that. Who is the one that I’m really pitying? Am I really pitying them? Or am I just treating them as a landscape, and looking upon them while feeling sorry for myself? *Has a flashback to when Grimm told her, “Help me, Rose!”* Am I really….pitying Grimm? Grimm is still in the prison cell. This time we see that he has been stabbed in the stomach with a knife. Someone is waiting outside the cell. He looks up. Grimm: Rose? Rose: You are not Grimm. (I feel like this is a form of word-play here, Grimm/Geurim is the romanization of the word painting, 그림. Rose realizes that Grimm is not the “landscape” that she was thinking about earlier.) Grimm: What? Rose: Let’s leave. *opens the cell door* Let me get you out of here. The scene cuts to a view of a large ship at the sea. Leo: You see that boat? All you need to do is go now and board it immediately. Grimm: What about Rose? And if I leave like this everyone will…. Leo: Sh**! I don’t know either…what the heck Rose is thinking!!! *Has a flashback of Rose telling Leo to take Grimm, and also to not return.* Not to return…what on Earth does that mean…. Grimm: Are you also going to Korea? Leo: Huh? No, I can’t go. Rose told me to meet her there… Grimm: ….is that so? What a shame. *stabs Leo in the stomach with a knife* Leo: This…..FU**!!!!
