Is it just me or is it getting a little difficult to follow where this is trying to go.

 

Its not just you. I have been feeling the same for a while now.

 

I liked it better at the beginning but I usually feel this way about most KR novels. It's like they don't have a basic plan for their stories. I think for this one it was when the concept of 'stories' were talked about being the base of a person that it got a little too hard to follow for me.

 

Before the Star Stream invades and caused massive chaos to the world, everyone was living their day to day lives in simple peace.
But when the Star Stream fully integrated and made the people of Earth a part of them. The living people too integrated with the Star Stream.
As more scenarios are cleared and coins are gathered, their bodies began to change. From raising stats and getting more skills.
The people have fully integrated their body into the Star Stream due to the continuous modifications done to their body.
And so now, they cannot live without a story, without the Star Stream to give them a story.
Or it would destabilize everything within their body, and cause them to be destroyed when they leave the story. Hence why it’s called the “Exile Penalty”, they broke the rules. And so they will be penalized.
Like, all the stats and stigma’s and free stuff was actually free? The price was being a part of the Star Stream.

Is what I’m gathering and theorizing lol. But I think that’s how it works?

nice to see that todays cliffhanger was the mc looking over a cliff in the story of the world he is in. both literal and metaphorical and metaphorically literal.
