Sang Hyuk hunting Dark Dragon are some of the best battle scenes in the novel.


You will all enjoy Dark Dragon's thought process, his tactics and Sang Hyuk's counters.

Not all the antagonists in this novel are imbeciles, like the Crusader guild master. DD is cunning, ruthless and very evil.

DD also believes in the superiority of numbers...so he tries to trap Sang Hyuk using numbers...like in a tiger hunt. Beaters to drive the tiger, bait, killing ground, traps, etc.

You can get as many souls as you want it's just 2-3 souls is the most common cause otherwise too hard to level I am pretty sure so yes but MC will be stronger than any penta soul we meet

MC has four soul holes...

Each active soul hole doubles the xp needed, hence the common wisdom is that triple is hard and quadruple is idiotic...however the MC has a titles that halves the experience needed to level and a title that doubles acquired XP.

He also is using a plan that each soul skill synergistically augments each other...

Shadow knight, card user, elementalist and Giant Blood...

Shadow knight combines stealth and dps...
Elementalist to summon elementals to create cards for destructive use...
Card user combines tank, dps, buffer and healer in one job...needs his secret card combinations
Giant blood has damage absorb...

Btw, how do you guys like the new arc?

 

So far the new arc about MC finally manning up to Dark Dragon feels like something that have been dragged since MC met and pwned DD's goons earlier as Immortal against the PKers. Kinda getting confused with MC as Blake up against the Gold Line, another enemy that he needs to pwn in the future. Correct me if I am wrong, MC has a grudge with DD, GL and some group of wealthy asshats who wants to dominate the black market? Said asshat also use the female reporter to make MC spill secrets.

The thing about DD is Sang Hyuk's hatred of hunting control. If you read carefully, you'll figure out one of the major themes is how the MC has been screwed in the past by people who...

1) Try to control hunting, so he decides to screw DD
2) Try to control the black market, hence he built Gold Mountain to screw them...
3) Try using large guilds to try to control small guilds...so he built a guild to screw em...

Basically, he's against anyone using money, or power, or the masses to control the little guys...guys who want to just enjoy the game.

at the end is an unforgettable scene where Sang Hyuk basically steps on the super-guilds...ALL of them, in the open field of battle...and becomes a legend. One player against hundreds of thousands...and WINS! I really love his trump card...it summons a Dragon head to chomp on his enemies...players becoming Cheetos is fun!
