    Hey guys ! I'm a big fan of one piece and I'm sure there are some of you here as well .I was just wondering how great it would be if one piece was a novel , Anyone has the same idea?

    No!!! It been what? 19? let's say close to 2 decades of manga and it still have no clear ending...
    LN? I bet it will take much longer time considering Japanese LN have monthly update. Plus, there will be to many characters not worth memorizing :eek:

    eh It wouldn't be the best but at the same time not the worse also as a novel it will almost more then likely include way more information about the world. Some Manga follow novels word for word but most of the time novels have more words to illustrate the world since you do not have pictures. I would not mind having a long novel to read if One piece had a light novel or even a Chinese style web novel.

    I don't know if it would be as good as the manga, but I would be interested in reading it. Since it is so long, I'd be more interested because I like long series. All in all, it would depend on how the story would be written. One Piece is good as a manga and anime, but as a novel the fighting would probably end up a little bland, but the drama might end up increasing as a return.

    The manga is very well drawn it has lot of visual charm, seems unlikely that can be translated.
    Dont think the story is the best point of OneP but rather the characters and the manga and anime manages to take focus away from the story that seems harder to do in novel form.

    Should add did not like OneP myself so this might just be the viewpoint of someone that didnt even like the manga version.

    It really depends on which LN. Xianxia, yes. Japanese LN tend to have longer chapter.
    + that conversion rate mainly happen because the manga cut a lot of detail and event. Several adaptation has lower LN chapter to manga conversion
