Discussion OPEN CHALLENGE : The most complicated origin story (rebirth/transmigration)

This regards to the back story of a character before the reincarnated/traveled back in time/transmigration in the main timeline. Things concerning why or how the protagonist was done in. For example the ATG protagonist, spoilers ahead......... Died as a child(continent 1)took rebirth... Lived life on a different continent(number 2), committed suicide, took rebirth as the child who died again(continent 1- main timeline), but pulling the continent number 2 in a time backlog, so that is still stuck in a time before the hero took rebirth(plot device to save his girl).

Hopefully u get the idea.

It's story left me gobsmacked.

 

The death mage who doesn't want a fourth time. Starts out straight forward, but actually uses it as a major plot point with a growing backstory behind the reincarnation.

 

That's my next read then

once u realise this, it's not really complicated anymore nor is it special.

MC reincarnates into a different world with a system, dies, comes back to life missing memories, dies again comes back alive again missing more memories, gets betrayed and dies coming back as an undead that has lost even more memories, and the book starts with the MC being a 300 year old lich. LOTS of very important things are in this backstory, with lots of hits and inferences and things that have to be figured out. 439 chapters in and we are still getting important info on his backstory and characters involved in his past

Oh FK, I completely forgot about that one, I have read the complete manhua, it's awesome...esp the current arc of fate being unavoidable and all. If u liked it give once upon a time in spirit.... A try. It isn't dark humour but still the comedic bits are pretty funny. I'm on chap 550 right now, is good till this point

 

nah my interest toward that genre on near nil point atm so maybe later~

I can't remember the title (I even put it up the request board once, but no one could remember seeing it either), but a few years ago I read the first half of a story where the MC was a reincarnator who was reborn as a demon, he became one of the demon king's four generals, then in the final battle he gets killed by the summoned hero... only to be reborn again as the hero at the moment of his summoning, and now he had to replay history and kill himself to avoid causing a time paradox.

There were also two love interests who also reincarnated, one as the hero's companion, a hot-headed battle maniac the MC had to hold on a short leash lest she would break the timeline, while the other was a demoness who had a crush on the MC as a demon and now wants to kill the MC as the hero to save him and change the future.

Oh, yeah, and according some author notes, it was implied that the Demon King was another, future incarnation of the MC. So yeah, try to keep track of all that...
