You could be an urchin, a beggar, or even an errand boy/girl for a semi-wealthy person/family. You learned about Orbs while being picked on by others more fortunate then yourself. Orphanage - you were either abandoned as a child or you lost your parents early on. You learned about Orbs while playing with the other children in the orphanage. Underground - crime, gambling, drugs, and fraud plagued the underground. You could be a thief, a druggie, or even a murderer. You learned about Orbs while playing in an underground tournament. Slavery - you were sold to or found by slave drivers as a child. You were either bought by a wealthy man to work or sent to the mines to labor. You learned about Orbs while peeking at those who bought you play in their pastime.
