Hello, the translator for High Spec Village, Kari here. https://www.novelupdates.com/series/ore-no-ongaeshi-high-spec-murazukuri/ I decided to start a LCD thread for the novel. The novel is about a young man who somehow is transported to a different world. There, he finds a village in distress and decides to save it with the help of his modern knowledge. What hooked me up from this novel is the personality of the MC. He is a salary man, who has a hobby of mountain climbing and other outdoor activities. He is calm and collected, and tries to analyze and make sense of the weird situation he is in. He takes a different attitude from the usual isekai MCs out there, not letting his guard down, and not trusting anyone at first, regardless of how amiable they are with him. He also isn’t like those protagonists that suddenly start screaming “magic” or “cheat” as soon as they are in another world, since he apparently isn’t familiar with those situations, even from reading novels, which I assume he hasn’t read. For example, when he feels like his strength has increased, he assumes at first that it has to do with the planet having less gravity than Earth. Spoiler: Volume 2 Images Spoiler: Volume 3 Images
Is this the one about a guy winning a lottery, moving to a rural place and finding a passage to another world and proceeding to help a starving village?
I had just binged all tl'd chapters of Other World Assassin Life of a Man who was a Shut-in before reading this one. And yeah, this is a nice breath of fresh air from the usual isekai cheat stuff. Thank you for providing us with a translation for it, I'll definitely be looking forward to more.
Sword of Grudges? and he is a dwarf......Hopefully they won't end up like in the Warhammer Fantasy. Context:In warhammer fantasy battles dwarves hold a book of grudges where they write down all their grudges even if it seems petty.
That, I didnt know. Interesting. And as a side note, the author seems to be a gamer, since he has used some game references here and there, like item names from games.
It's kind of weird with those Han tribe childrens. Why are they so cherfull, completly unlike their families were killed just some time ago and they were to be sold as slaves. And how did this Han tribe even lost to those small-fry bandits from before when they were supposed to be strong and their horses are among the best in the world. (i suppose they're like mongols). I just can't undestand how they would be killed by some random bandits
Actually I was going to ask this question I noticed I missed a lot of chapters. There is the mention that a larger group of bandits(main group perhaps? But according to the scouting done they were wiped out by unknown group which brings the question whether the bandits were the same group the mc wiped out or not) was operating nearby and the ones the mc took out were probably the ones in charge of the sales with the blackmarters and slavers. But it makes you question still how bandits took out an entire tribe of elite plains people. Maybe we will get a clue in future updates.
I facepalm when I read this. One: Yamato seems foreign name to them so Yamato would be unique Two: Both Yamato beat soldiers with ease Is there identity perception altering device?
Maybe it is just me but Urd sounds a lot like earth when spoken by a person with a weird lisp. Also, why is this on hold?
