His HP probably dropped to 1 by the time he acquired Legendary status. And it was mentioned that his time (old age) was coming. I think that Old Age probably is also a form of status where the HP gets shaved off over time to allow a transition from lively person to a dying person. Doubt that this status can be resisted. Doesn't feel realistic when a person who is jumping around few seconds ago just drop dead all of a sudden So his Old Age gave the final blow
Goddammit! Author! At least this confirm one important thing, Either that it is possible for 2 legends in the same profession to exist at the same time or Grid really is the worst in the legend class job quest progress since he is not yet acknowledge as a Legendary Blacksmith.
What do you mean? When Grid became a legend, there was a world announcement like Khan's. The system itself admits Grid as a legend. He has Pagma's Skills.
Yeah. Since Khan became the Legendary Blacksmith at the last moment of his life, it's technically count. Khan (Legend) exist at the same time as Grid (Legend)
That's cause Pagma is already known to be a legendary blacksmith and probably also because of his importance to the storyline.
Yeah but still... I think this game seem to put important on name and titles. Like how Lantier is not a single person's name but the 'title' of the Legendary Assassin. something like that.
I don't deny that grid is a legend but did he got acknowledge with world message as 'Legend' or 'Legendary Blacksmith'? I can't remember. Brb. but I'm sure it's does mean something.
But doesn't that mean that Pagma's Descendant has a higher grade than 'Legendary Blacksmith'. After all, There could be other legendary blacksmiths but only Grid is Pagma's descendant.
first braham, now khan D: what are you doing author just when grid was maturing into a semi-decent person you pull this, now what'll happen to grid when you go and wrench out the most important pillar of grid's growth
Maybe this is author's way to make Grid level-up from being a semi-decent person to an actual decent person. Either way, it sucks
Yeah but doesn't it sound like ... meh ... when compare to others? It's like 'he's that guy's son!' instead of 'That guy'. With Pagma's Decedent, it feel like he will never be better than pagma as long as this is his title. He won't be 'The legendary Blacksmith Grid' But 'The Legendary Blacksmith Pagma's Decedent'. You are not acknowledge as an individual but just a shadow to someone.
I think that's the fun in that. I mean, it could be a way to show that at a later part of the story, Grid would grow enough to step out Pagma's shadow and make his own legend. Something we could look forward to.
