... Veradin died again just like that? Can't Grid just capture him and poison him slowly to death or something? #Veradinshouldsuffermore
The first chapter was quite...reminiscing. Feels like I went back to the old days when the monthly 'night battle' were always told. The chandelier is a splendid misunderstanding, great chance for Grid and Emperor Juander to eliminate their mutual enemy. And wow, the poison was actually combustible.
I think he is referring to the emperor's decision to disqualify the first knight, Mercedes. Which I do agree seems a bit stupid on the emperor's part.
I guess it’s more on the side of him having lost trust in just about everyone and become an unstable intellectual, I personally don’t believe in the master of the continent being inherently dumb...
I don't think you can really capture players. Torturing other players is likely not possible in the game except for special missions like Huroi's.
I don't think he is inherently dumb as well. It's just frustrating to see that he trust the 4th knight more than his trusted aide or the 1st knight that stabilize the Red Knights. I believed he should have been more prudent before he disqualified Mercedes. He didn't even ask her directly what happened.
Haha just my two cents. It irks me how easily Veradin died. I mean, can't there be a curse or whatnot that could inflict the same or higher amount of pain that Khan suffered from?
Ahh fair point. Failing such a quest is tantamount to great pain since it's a game. But somehow, it feels anti-climatic? Maybe it's just me haha
That will get the s.a. sued... physically harming a player intentionaly is a huge criminal offense... so nope. Besides this is a game where anything goes. Excepy the rl stuff. Besides the author made his punishment as that quest failure... dying 5 times... also the fact he is hunted permanently. Until he quits the game.
I wonder if it would really haha. I mean, they (S.A) can't directly affect the game afaik. Well, either way, I'm just a reader enjoying the crumbs that authors' decide to throw my way.
They don't need to when the A.I. will do so in their stead. If he's really suffering such pain he'll likely be ejected from the game.
That's why I said they can't interfere with the game because it is the A.I. that does the work and balances the whole thing. Also, wouldn't it be interesting to know what the A.I. would classify as suffering? Endnote: I think we're just going round and round here. All I wanted to say was that I wish Veradin would suffer as much as he possibly could because I don't like him. It's just my personal view on things. No need for an in-depth discussion/debate... I'll be fine with agreeing to disagree haha
Afaik one of them was Ares. As for the other one I'm not sure but it might be either Black or White, basically the sun-grade fatty.
Cant directly affect the game? But they build the system which will make player suffer physically or mentally...afaik huroi was an exemption as it was a quest and they had consent and properly manage his health for his suffering. But having skills to intentionaly hurt people in rl by use of game. Thats the s.a. fault as far as im concerned lol.
