Well their fans might still remember them yanno
1. Ares isn't a miracle player.
2. Kraugel is now stronger than he was (and has a malignant saint's power too)
3. Hurent was controlling himself because they were in the rice fields. If it was some barren place, he would've ran wild.
[* When myth rated items are produced, all stats will permanently rise by +20 and reputation throughout the continent will rise by +1,000.]

Just what he needed more stats and more dexterity also wonder if there is anything good in the reputation shop for 200,000
Have we even seen what's in the reputation shop yet?

[Overgeared King Grid declares his non-participation in the 4th Satisfy National Competition.]
The breaking news from various media outlets caused a buzz among the people. The real-time search queries of the portal sites became filled with Grid, Shin Youngwoo, Overgeared King, and so on in less than one minute.
Good... good, let the hate flow through you! :v
I wonder how the peanut gallery will react this time, seeing as the rest of the world sees grid as the only hope for south korea. Plus points if we see lauel getting jealous over grid being the demon king
Seriously? People might not be thinking of him but we don't forget a world champ in 5 years.
It should be put into perspective that not everyone who plays Satisfy are gamers before the game existed (*looks at Verabitch, Agnus and Grid*) so we will definitely have some people who do not know Haster.
The ones I certainly know as gamers are those from Tzedakah Guild and Chris' previous guild.
Do you remember any world champ of any sport or game from the last 5 years without looking it up?
Germany in 2014
The statement was that he can't imagine anyone remembering him. Thus implying that no one would remember him. I don't particularly watch sports to start with so it wouldn't apply to me(for not knowing them in the first place). That being said I know that Michael Phelps was dominating in swimming for example. If Haster was dominating at such a level then people who payed attention to those things would remember him almost immediately even if not by face.
While I agree with you that there will be someone out there who knows Haster, this is e-sports we are talking about. You can't simply compare it to Michael Phelps and swimming.
Even if it is S. Korea which is one of the most developed e-sports community, there's also the fact that e-sports is not yet fully accepted by the old generation and will not care about who Haster is.
can't wait for the tournament arc~
Esports is hard to compare to regular sports, because it's an umbrella term for all the games that have a professional competitive league. It's like saying ball games when referring to basketball, volleyball, baseball, etc.
Plus it depends on if you are a fan of the player or a fan of the game whether people would even remember you, and your rivals i guess, gotta scout out the competition, but 5 years of silence is abit too much
I wonder on how would the people react after they found out that Grid's the demon king on the competition
Well... Damien's reaction is definitely going to be "NANIII?!?!". Not sure about the rest though, Lauel might cry tears of blood however.
prolly due to jealousy right?
We do if its fps... fos games are not that good yanno??? Fuck fps games....so many hacks that its disgusting.
Yup, he already cried when Grid's eye glowed blue from Pagma-Baal's Eyes. I won't be surprised if he cough out blood or anything when he finds out about the Demon King matter
Bitch please... go look up dota dendi. Not all e-sports stars needed to be a champion they just needed to be unforgetable! But still who likes fps game that much to actually care about a single person??? Fps are more group gaming...
Even though there are skilled players no one remembers them exept the group names.
Separate names with a comma.
