A new character finally been introduced! Maybe she will be the MC's patreon for gathering those blue orihalcum later on!!
man, trudging through the first 15 or so chapters (until he broke lvl 1 and made those epic rated arrows) was literally.... hell. Its like reading ARK+WEED in one package. Except you get the worst of the worst. Greedy, short sighted, doesn't play it safe, too gung-ho, etc. Chapters 18-21 though, shed some different light. I can see some potential in this novel, I hope its as good as it seems to be.
You just don't understand - it's the best part! MC's "below average intelligence" turns this novel from the boring VR equivalent of "League of Super Heroes" into much funnier "League of Super Redundant Heroes".
yea it was pretty tough for me as well but i have faith in turtles choices in novels. If anything, its a shame this Korean novel along with many others have problems with simple real world economics or even gaming economics(they are writing a gaming novel so i assume they play/enjoy games). In chapter 21 you can see that he sold 100 epic arrows, with excellent options for only around 120,000 won or 100-120 usd total which is ridiculous considering its a game with 2 billion players. It was also bought/bid by several 'rankers'. If any of you guys have played any online multiplayer game with a trading system you would have experienced or heard about the insane spending that goes on by the 'whales' and 'top ranked' players. In my opinion it would not be crazy to see people pay hundreds or even thousands to buy those arrows. For the 'top ranked' players or 'whales' this item is literally end game as there are no better arrows as told by the author, the players also don't know if its going to be a one time thing or something that is going to be common, making many scramble to buy it. I know i'm rambling but if there is 2 billion players. Lets say there are 100 classes(amount of classes not confirmed(?)) with maybe only 1 class that uses arrows 1% of 2 billion is 20 million, of those 20 million players i don't think it would be too hard to find a few dozen or even hundred that are willing to pay a few hundred or thousand for in essence end game items that could be crucial for them in questing/bossing/pvping. pvping = player vs player whale = someone that has no problem spending large amounts of their money/income on games won = Korean currancy USD = American dollar/currency
You are assuming that that game has one auction house for all the 2 billion players. It is far more likely that each region or even each village has its own, independent auction.
Since it's a KR nove, it's probably going to follow the pattern as MC going to get rejected by his 1st love and then mocking because he's low level aka 'nuub' lul thinking he's just a low level blacksmith but then he's going to take his gamin seriously and rekt past them and obv his love interest is going to be the mage/wizard girl from the quest. I hope he keep his naivity tho, it's so good to have a 'noob' pov and not someone with godly skillz or knowledge from the past blabla
That's an amazing price for 100 arrows. For consumables, the better they are, the less likely normal players are to use them. Because they're too good for normal hunting/questing. So there might be 2 billion players, but there might only be 200 archers in a position to actually use the arrows. 100 arrows would probably be gone after a single raid boss, too, so some guy effectively spent $100USD for a damage boost for one fight, or maybe only part of a fight.
Yes PLEASE. I hope it goes with the LMS style of more adventure and less romance. Seeing stats go up and reading about insane OP skills (thats going to be hotfixed in an actual RL Multiplayer game) are my guilty pleasures. I really dont want to read anymore shitty romances. I have AO3 for that. Anyway, a bit offtopic, but I just realized that this was the same Turtle who translated LMS right? Are all their tls vr stuff? And theyre on WW? Prob why they didnt stick with GT. Edit: @Fluffums - My thoughts exactly. Its consumables with a limited userbase that can use them. It wouldve been different if it was a perm equipment or something.
