I've been quite hesitant to read this due to the racism tag, so my question, just how bad is the racism in this novel? ~Thanks
Not very. It's just the typical posturing of each country in order to get face-slapped in the competition.
it's not bad at all, I didn't even know it did have that tag. the only thing I can think of is some nationalism or pride between countries during IRL tournaments for the game, obviously each country wants to be the best and win.
Like the comments said, no rasicm, only nationalism And also prepare for bad MC for the first 150 chapters or so, then the MC will begin to grow to become a loveable one(depending on the reader)
author made south korea losers and other superpower countries underestimates south korea. and them ends up getting faceslap and becoming laughing stocks. then *insert maximum patriotic lines here*
because somehow people don't see calling another person yellew monkey racist... All in all Nationalism is a form of racism, look at Germany in WW2 they were very nationalistic, and that ended op being portrayed as racism, so no you can't say theres no racism only nationalism, as there will always be racism in nationalism.
The rascism is extremely mild. The most it does is add more character to an individual, mainly Kraugel. Whoever gets offended by what he deals with should not step outside their house and find a "safe space".
It's just some bad tagging and the nationalism is not so extreme to be considered racism. Also if any among 850 chapters the one that contain no more than 15 chapters about nationalism.
As far as I can remember, there was this one bit about a character getting bullied because he was an immigrant, and that too is used to build up the background of that character. Apart from that i don't think there's much to worry about (Well... except the unbearable amount of propaganda, that author tries to mask with patriotism)
Dont read modern days fiction if you dont like nationalism ............................. Wait a minute even isekai's genre got nasionalism now like some random japanese who still eat sushi at another world
