I just finished watching overlords two episode and it seems both of them were filler? or is my memory not serving me well. I thought only mainstream shounen anime like naruto and one piece had fillers.
You need to go back and re-read volume 8. They were events in that volume. Try to wait for after next episode.
The two episodes of this season are both in the actual novel. The first episode should've been a little longer if I remember correctly but other than that it's all cannon lol
They’re quite important tho~~ They’re a part of the novel! And if you’ve seen the previous seasons I’m sure you’d know that different character’s POV are shown in Overlord, which becomes a bit of a drag honestly~ But in the end I feel that that’s precisely what makes Ainz’s POV all the more interesting!
The POVs of the side characters are the best part in this kind of story since we get to see how the New World views and reacts to the citizens of Nazarick. People are already complaining simply because Ainz and the rest doesn't get much screen time anymore...and I hate that. I can't wait for the next 2 arcs and shove it to their faces of how great Overlord truly is.
