aloli in the sun, how fitting~ Also, is that why there's one with a blurred name on your trainer card? lol
no, it's got my rl name in it. not that keen to share it to the wider world >_> and that name makes me think of the sauce aioli now... <_<
I've been thinking of replaying pokemone yellow for the past few hours. I was reminded that a mini game exits during the credits scene
huh, really? Ive played a bit of Pokemon Blue but its a bit before my time. Never really brought myself to play gen 1 games again, and Ive never had the chance to otherwise play gen 2
I finally completed the nuzlocke <.< On another note I beat the main story in explorers of the sky and doing the post one
Screenshot? and nice. it's been 2 years since I've played through EoS and I own the cartridges of EoTime and Darkness. post-game is pretty fun and the music is great. I like the plot more of PMD2 but in terms of content, its a toss-up between PMD1 & 2
I've tried as well, and I don't find the fainting=dead clause very agreeable for me either >_> So I just mix it up with my own sort of caveats and rules! I mean its fun having to use a team of pokemon you've never used before! or maybe just restricting what sort of items you can use... Im not too hardcore <_<
That's what I'm going to do. Just use pokemon I've never fought with before. I never did succeed in training a nidoking~
Pokemon typing was definitly the most intense game for me. check out the boss theme. I also played through conquest recently since I never did before, a hidden gem
what the hell, its so hype but yeah Conquest is pretty great! Came around right at the end of the DS's lifespan though
*teaches magnezone explosion* TAKE THAT YOU OVERGROWN DRAGON MUAHAHAHHA edit: damn it all it did nothing!!!!
HAH I did it! My Honchkrow is suitably badass *nods* now time to finally get to the content that actually differs from Sun and Moon. finally!
My thoughts on the Ultra Necrozma battle. I managed to beat it pretty easily thanks to my magnezone, despite all my other pokemon being low level mooks. in fact they contributed hardly at all towards the battle, the only use I found of them was using 1 to allow my magnezone to revive once. Honchkrow wittled its HP down to nearly nothing before it got taken out, and that revive was more for as a just-in-case because you never know if that insane stat-wise Necrozma would be faster than my level 40 scrubs. The music however was great and it was a surprise that I got poipole on my team for free. I would of liked their to be more content or lore for the metropolis however, but perhaps that might be for the aftergame instead. I'm getting a bit worried about the power desperencies between my new pokemon and old, but hopefully the gap will close when I go near the elite four. I think there could've been better ways to make the battle harder than the insane stat leap, is that the AI should've been a bit smarter and using better moves in total, to prevent the gap in using the wrong one that makes it able to take it out. I feel a bit spoiled by novels and the good ones more intricate plots that it makes it harder to appreciate the more simple ones of Pokemon. at least I have Pokemon Mystery Dungeon to spoil me.
Challanging the Alolan Elite Four updated my team for my US post >_< Very happy I finally evolved my larvesta into volcarona too! very happy :> Spoiler
I think I was very lucky, not a single Elite Four member used a Z move on me. Now onwards to the champion! gogo team!
Ok I have completed the Championship for Alola Spoiler Thoughts regarding it. Against all the elite four members, including the champion I didn't see a single use of a z-move. Not to fault the champion battle with Hau, I completed bodied him with Pippy (Naganadel), but the other such champions have no such excuses. I did managed to take Olivia with Tetna (Magnezone) running on Magnet rise but the rest had plenty of chances to beat my pokemon with a z-move. I don't know if it was a bad match-up on their part, or my Pokemon were great but I didn't stuggle at all regarding the Pokemon league. It was too easy. I did have some fainted pokemon, that was more because I couldn't bother wasting a turn switching them out rather than them actually getting taken down easily. Pippy (Naganadel), took down 4 of Hau's Pokemon, his Crabonimable with Acid Downpour and everything else was easy-sauce. Managed to 1-hit ko his Alolan-Raichu with Waver (Swampert) and also did a 1-hit ko against his flareon which managed to take out Pippy with a quick attack (he was at 11hp..), but Feindall (Honchkrow) took it out with a Foul Play after it bulked up a Flare Blitz. To be honest I found a use out of every member of my team except ninetails. The champion fight way the only time I used a Z move and I think I only used ninetails for it's ice shard to take down a 1hp mon in the elite four. It didn't make a good impression on me, despite the type coverage it's suppose to be there for. I hope I'll find more use for her in the aftergame. Well I'm going to celebrate finally completing this game! P.S Acerola was the worst elite four member and everything about her fight sort of low-key bothers me. I liked her better as a Captain.
