I mean for us its a bar, -25% each time they commit something bad, could go for more when they really do something shitty, or instant ban. It takes like a month or two (since we're usually busy with other things) to remove like -25%

While it is troublesome to cater to "WHY THIS WHY THAT?" you are mods are you not? Its kinda yer job. In the forums i am a mod for, we literally have a sub forum just threads for each person who has been given a warning, creating a sort of "PROFILE" for each member. IP Tracking and shit is also considered so if one makes an account because their other account was banned / temp banned / perma banned, we actually just ban them with the Reasons populated from the thread.

Course, you could be very dictator-like if its really getting out of hand, but its just food for thought.

I pretty much agree with that "cliche and trope runt" its specially annoying when reading reviews.. i mean wtf ofcourse its cliche and full of tropes its basically a fact. Do this people perhaps expect something new every a day or 2.. sure its cliche specially when all this month your focus was on that certain kind of novel and when finding new to read its already given to be a bit similar is it not? Sheesh

 

Have/are you reading the novel at all? So tell me, going by what you're saying, how many actual harem members/wives does YC have right now? It should be an absurdly high number going by what you're saying.
I literally hate people like you that simply go around giving false information. No, YC does not go around collecting "jade like 12 yr olds". First of all, there's what, like one, or two at most (sword/LDE)? You're making it seem as if YC has no personality and his aim is to simply go around collecting women. Currently, his actual harem consists of a handful of people.
Yes, the romance is not great, but it isn't bad either imo for a novel focused mainly on action. If you want to hate on it, go ahead, but at least provide proper criticism.

 

Hm... y'know, I think if you keep posting these parth rants, I'm gonna translate them and a couple example threads (for context of the rant) into chinese and go show how our translation community is every bit as cancerous as the original communities. It'd be like a reverse on ren's old post about peoples reactions to english translated novels.

 

People get serious when they get shitted on about their "hobby"(though most actually do it for learning and sharing) that leeches benefit most from. They don't have to post their work online. It's more of a service than anything else. As for the internet not being "serious," most people are over 13 and don't want to play around with some adolescent teenager or immature adult all the time. There's a time and place for joking. Like it or not, it is similar to the world in that regard. That may be scary to hear thar sitting in front of your computer screen. And as long as you have serious niche community, nonsensical trolls won't breach easily. It CAN be done online but that's a community effort. And if NUF didn't have rules and conscientious mods to keep that effort going, it'd be a feces den of kids convinced they were funny. You should be thinking your lucky stars for diverse experiences instead of contributing to and celebrating the cesspools of the web.
