Discussion Parth Rant 2 in 1: Spam/Trolling in Novel subforums and Hate-Boners + Bonus

Firstly, your mention of who takes the internet seriously. In regards to the Internet we all know of what to take seriously and what to not. Of course a lot of things could be dismissed, but when you start a forum and gather a community it has worth to someone, thus they take it seriously because it's a commitment not just the internet.

Secondly, getting a life. The very fact you made it this far in life yet you are such an immature person illustrates your need for a life more than we all do.

Thirdly, your respect for different perspective highlighted based on your analogy of jokes while seemingly correct but is actually flawed. Indeed what is good may not be to another, that unspoken rule is enforced within reasonable bounds. It's is akin to saying just because some people find excrement disgusting doesn't mean other wouldnt like to have it as their favorite food.

Lastly, regarding your feeling toward the rules, to quote "Fuck these shitty rules". Rules are created for a reason, if you have a dislike for them, blatant cussing in expression for your dislike of them doesn't help, instead why not write a constructive criticism regarding the rules you find "shitty". It is hard to take you seriously when all you come up with have no basis or foundation.

Fuck you as well! I have a life and I am a working adult with decent job and pay! You didn't read the thread. Parth said refrain trolling and hate boning when it comes to Novel and Novel subforums. If you want to troll and hate go to other sections. Also, translators can be a real job if you spend a lot of time and make money out of it! So again, FUCK YOU! Don't FUCK up the rules. Rules are not shitty!

 

Parth already addressed your concern on the first page, which is why your post made no sense to me. It just seemed like you wanted to start a fight for no reason.

First of all, thank you very much for this rant Parth, it's a wonderfully well done one, and I agree with pretty much everything you said now... I only need to wait until my likes come back so that I can like this thing.

Problem with this reasoning, is that this is on a serious section of the forums, there are plenty of spaces on this forum for jokes and playing around, so if someone wants some laughs and to troll a bit, should just go to the more lax sections.

As someone that stays mainly on community games, which is a place completely devoid of seriousness, I'd be quite annoyed if all I got when I made a serious topic were a bunch of troll answers, so I greatly appreciate this rant from Parth.

Reading rants are pretty fun I must say, but I only ever see Parth rant.

 

Question, is there a recommendation system for individuals? Like in youtube. But a restriction so that once a series is recommended, it cant be recommended again and with a review on why it was recommended.

 

I just can't help it! He told me us to get a life and he belittled translators. Yes, it can be a hobby but it can be a real job as well. And i really admire translators for what they do.

Nice rant. I agree with most if not all of what you said. I would wait a few weeks to see if NUF changes for the better with your proactive approach to trolling. Is the new rules going to be put in the NUF Rules forum or is it already there?
