Hello, to blow off the steam I've built up in anger at my bank who I will never associate with again (I will also dissuade my children and grandchildren from doing so either), I'd like to convert a series of novels that I have in pdf into epubs so I can read it on my phone. I could do it manually, but I'm feeling too wrathful to do something that tedious so I figured I'd check to see if any of you have something good. Btw, the pdf contains text and images so I'd be happy if a miracle program exists that can embed those in the epub for me, but I think I can do that much myself if needs be. Thanks in advance!
I will just be that guy and *Prepare a chair, popcorns, drinks* *Sit down* "Now then....let's us talk. What happened?" "Want some snacks while you telling your story?"
Saying this without doing any research beyond what I did initially for a different project... I'd honestly just use a source material -> epub converter or find epub versions of those pdf's. To go from pdf's to epubs can be more hassle than it's worth, especially if the pdf's are encrypted. Or, at least, that's what I found when I tried it. That said, if it's not encrypted, what you're probably going to end up doing is extracting from pdf to some intermediate file like docx, and then reconverting it to epub.
Oh that. Usually i just edit the pdf before saving on my phone ( > ◡ < ) Or. I use box app. It has a text to speak option since im lazy haha
You can search at(in or on?) Google: Convert pdf to epub online. There're some websites that makes this conversion easily.
It has literally everything, and there are extensions too. Works pretty well for converting pdf if you tweak it to your specification/likes, and then you can edit epub file too.
If it's for light novels then I can give you the website I use that has both pdf and epub selections.
