The last chapter was really interesting. I'm looking forward to see how the mc will interact with that 'fatty'. Will she go with him explore a 'special' area? Now the mc has a ship for travelling, the opportunity to cultivate and use precious hervs, what does he lack?
I'm not sure if that girl will be a waifu. I think that he'll go on a route with that girl at whom his pet (wolf) is currently at. But, maybe, there'll be a harem?
I don't like her, too random. Suddenly a super powerful expert from another realm appears, in an incredible coincidence she takes a liking to the MC and is surprisingly similar to him. She also knows how to control the divine striking stone and has a mind reading ability that can even steal the insight others have. This is complete tom foolery! On a side note...I don't like her at all.
I just don't like beautiful women being crammed into a story for no rhyme or reason. It would be far more amusing if it was an old grandpa that showed up and acted like a devil, but alas we need a romantic lead.
To be fair, we do have two old grandpas in the Void God Realm. (Is that what it's called? I'm can't remember.) Sure they don't go on escapades like the on Shi Hao just had, but they have served similar purposes. Also, why not combine the two ideas and make an old grandpa romantic lead to satisfy both sides of an argument. Remember kids, it's only a real compromise if nobody wins.
I'm just upset that she was put in for no real reason. None that we know at least, maybe a little snippet in past chapters to HINT at a higher realm and maybe small little winks and nods every now and then that a mysterious expert has been watching Shi Hao. Call me crazy, but I hate beautiful Waifu characters. They have no place in the story without some background!
I'm more convinced that she has some relation to or is the lady who made the paper boats. She's mentioned that she has a higher cultivation realm than Spirit Transformation, she was only being suppressed by the nest. As well, she said that her main body is trapped, but if she is really so powerful why would no one come to save her or to take vengeance? If she were the last one, like what is written on the boats, she would have nobody to come save her and it is likely that her enemies would think her dead either because there was a massacre of her race and they assumed they killed everyone or because her race died out long ago and they didn't expect for her to still be alive.
You may be looking too deeply into it. She said she was trapped by someone, and I assume she was fighting someone then saw Shi Hao and decided to send a mental manifestation to him. She had to leave Shi Hao sooner or she would die, this hints at the fact that she is in the middle of a battle.
Maybe trapped was the wrong word. The chinese raw was more of a 'occupied' or 'stalled' kind of feeling. I am guessing that she can't leave due to some political matters or something. Don't quote me cuz i read while I TL.
