I was really disappointed when I found out the author dropped it.

 

I know it's already been said before but souen no historia stopped at the exact moment the thing people were waiting for was happening
anyways, there's also " Suterareta Yuusha no Eiyuutan "

 

That's not necessarily true. Look at Trinity Blood, the author died, someone else (his friend though), completed it (it's almost finished with the plots outlined already before)

 

What about log horizon? The author got arrested or something didn't he?
And i remember another anime, the one where the MC is a super maso and the girl he likes is afraid of men. And they got dark past history where she caused his super maso tendency got revealed in class. I think that one have something happened to the author as well.

I just consider anything done by that fuck dropped in advance, best to not read at all.

Legend of maian is complete though, since it's based on a Novel which has a completely trash ending.

 

What i meant is there is no choice in it being on perma-hiatus.

Novels like the one you mentioned (i'll take your word on it) and Zero no Tsukaima are yet another different sort of category as the authors usually planned out an end to the series which is then turned into novels.

 

Dunno what is "perma-hiatus" in your book...
but they are either dropped or more than 3 months without updates... Some even 1 year already...

 

Novels that won't ever update anymore.

Either they were dropped by the author... or there is always a chance for updates? right?

 

not sure if dropped but updates have been erratic and last was last month...

 

No Nano dropped it last year on Volume 3. JNovel has put out 6 volumes in the year since. That being said, the person I quoted stated it was perma-hiatus when it isn't.
