no. if u want to be technical, anubis is of a jackal, which is part o the genus canis which includes both wolf and dogs. it's like how tiger and cats are of the same genus. the heavenlydog doesn't really have any past, but the majority of the cats you mentioned have BS past stories anyway...we can always get the dog that bit lu dongbin and how it's shamed for thousands for years then as a legendary dog.
