Discussion Petition to ban Gullinbursti’s Translation

Even if the ‘petition’ was real and not a joke, the mods would hardly take it seriously, nor would anyone else for that matter. The only thing the post has done is give the translaters more publicity. So, only good things. Its not like he was throwing slander at them or anything.
Also i said ‘somewhat nasty response’ not ‘too nasty’.
Calling someones response ‘stupid’ isnt nice, but its hardly the worst thing to call something.

The U.S. has a problem with zero tolerance policy. Two main issues

• When you put too many people in jail it gets too expensive. Therapy or counselling is better. You are supposed to rehabilitate
• Because it is too expensive the government in the U.S. now allows private prisons, which means that as a for profit business, you can have some judges who send people to jail for no good reason just so their friend who owns a prison can make money. Government pays per prison I think. The prison owners also lobby/bribe their friends in government to pass laws that puts you in prison for silly offenses eg for walking funny/jaywalking
