Google thinks I don't care enough to make a comprehension about it, and it's right.

Because it's awesome here. Come down and see all of nature's splendour. From the Great Barrier Reef to one of the best view of the stars, the sun shines brightly on this great land.

The so-called 'private browser' does NOT prevent google / facebook / twitter / every-other-major-corp from tracking you in the least. Browser and user fingerprinting technology is over 99.95% successful in identification when combined with basic IP geolocation, and more nines are being added regularly. Private browsing means it doesn't save stuff locally, so your machine will have fewer traces - but not zero. If it's running on a linux box, you're pretty much safe locally-speaking, but a windows 7 or higher box will save all thumbnails, as well as MRU links essentially permanently. If it's windows 10, unless you've done a hell of a lot of difficult technical toothpulling, cortana has already recorded anything and everything you've done in your 'private browser' and sent the telemetry back to M$.

I should have mentioned I’m running through a proxy network bounced through Sweden Denmark and Russia as well as I don’t have Cortana because I’m on vista just so you know I have a pretty draconian isp so I have to jump through some hoops if i want to use utorrent so i just leave all that going and deal with fact I only get 256k download because of it

It's usually blank for me on NU for some reason. It has a blank space and says "advertisement" near the bottom, but my adblock is deactivated for this site, so I don't understand it. Didn't even notice until I read this thread.
I tried using a different browser and refreshing a bunch of times to see what comes up. I got adverts for high-speed internet, gemstones, coupons, real estate, writing classes, minecraft, fertility clinics, military school, and audio books.
Seems like they're just trying everything.
