    So, I didn’t know where to put this. I’ve been reading xianxia/transmigration/reincarnation stories for a while but was really excited to discover danmei and how they all intersected. Because I’m unashamedly a hardcore fujoshi.
    I was looking at @winter-t ’s Wordpress (I can’t link it but didn’t want to just copy and paste the info) at the recommendations and came across the description for Picked up by the Protagonist.
    I’ve never done any kind of MTL and don’t know a stitch of Chinese but I’m pretty confident at my proofreading skills and interpreting context.
    I was thinking of trying to do this novel since I can’t find anyone else who has. Does someone know if it is being translated under a different name? Would anyone be interested if I did do it? I’m partway through chap 1. I would be fairly slow and can’t promise amazing quality but I really want to read this.

    if there's a will there's a way
    also if you want to know if it's being translated just paste its raw title on NU search engine and if there's no hit then it's fine to translate it. since it's prolly not in the NU database


    and pokes the hardcore rotten people of nuf @LaDyViL @alexfilia @ninish @readerz - asked reader for some advice?

    I dont think there is anyone translating this ^^ ....you can also check my sig ...i have plenty of danmei novels there :D

    The MC's name 奇诺 is either:

    Kino
    Zeno
    Chino

    I'd vote for Kino (kinda cute) or Zeno (sounds mysterious) rather than Chino (it means pants, also it means "Chinese" in Spanish). Also, Chino is a racial slur so I wouldn't really use that if I had a choice.

    Thanks! I actually like Zeno a lot (Yona of the Dawn!)...good call on removing potential racial slurs.

    It's more of a mild racial slur but yeah, I also like Zeno or Kino. :love:

    This is a very exciting first chapter! OMG so MC is gonna save that poor, poor guy? Wow!
